We should seriously be considering giving Hernangomez and Kuz starter spots and develop them aside KP. Trade Melo to Clippers start over around KP, young talent and a high lottery 2017 draft pick.
This is such a lost cause if you are rooting for wins.
But if you focus on the draft, life is easier as a Knicks fan.

Yep it's all defense.
Knicks can't defend on a consistent basis they don't have the players with the agility commitment and skill.

How could you say that when the game is lost in the second quarter most of the season..Look it up..We got blown out in the second quarter when Melo left..Maybe Melo can come back at the 6 minutes mark and lock down the team huh?
And of course it's Defense...
Rose is downright awful. He should have stayed in Chicago. There was a play in transition when Derozan was in front of him and he back peddled 10 feet and let him get all the way to the basket. Can't win with guys that don't know how to play.
Have to start working the phones and see what's valuable to other teams.
Knicks need to max out Gordon Hayward and sell him on teaming with Kristaps for the next 10 years. Need hungry guys that aren't interested in their brands and looking for their next pay day.
Anyone who thought this team was good needs their head examined.
Melo left the game with the Knicks up 2 @ 1:27 mark of the first and returns in the second down 10 @6:13..Toronto momentum established..Game over...I have seen this time and time again all season..And yes the defense sucks..
Not having KP gives us little chance especially against tougher teams

Melo need to move up this all time scoring list.
If he will play more and will try on defense and bring useless Knicks back in the games he will get injured.

It's all Melo..He should be playing defense when he is on the bench too...He can stop entire teams and just doesn't because he is lazy...

This is true but he needed to focus on defense to stabilize the team when he comes back in. He has to lead on both ends. Ultimately the entire team lacks defensive talent at any position. That maybe a stretch, KP has defensive talent as a shot blocker but struggles on the perimeter and against strength.
Sidenote: Jeff going big and moving Melo back to the 3 was an excellent tank move to start the 2nd half.
