Supposing he is just gonna be a rental what value will he have. I dont think we can get a first but who knows. Maybe if we eat some salary or the other team feels they may resign him the return may be better. Im interested to hear what others think we could get realistically

The knicks can't trade to themselves so they are not getting a one back.. The only hope for the knicks is if the Kings come in and want to trade Collinson, WCS, & McLemore for Rose to try and make a push for the playoffs.

How does this work for the knicks, is gay and WCS currently on good teams and having a solid impact, or do you think they will come to NY like everybody else and play lights out.

I checked it on espn's trade machine and it didn't work. I wasn't aware of the $5 m window for trades over $10 m.
I don't think we'd get a useful player on a good contract. If we could get anything (even a 2nd rd pick) for him without taking back salary, that would be worth doing.
