no doubt he is terrific at going to the hoop BUT i still think we need a more traditional point guard to really help both melo and KP maximize their assets
I'm warming to the idea of dealing for Rubio.
Rubio or Jeremy Lin is the type of PG KP and Willy needs.
Rose would be an eitle guard if he realize he does have much better scorers around him now. The assist that he misses is mind boggling
EnySpree wrote:Melo had Rose and Holiday at the top of the key...wide open standing next to each other. He didn't even glance their way
its frustrating because he is a good passer but doesnt do it enough
Andrew wrote:KP and the guards still too willing to switch o. D
KP continues to drop off too much from his man, even when playing center. This is coachable, but he continues to do it.
One of my biggest annoyances with him this year.
Do not loss to Pacer please.
Melo is shooting them out of this.

rose is what he is. He is great at going to the rim maybe the best but not Much else
Pass the damn ball, Melo. Did he not watch the 9min of the second quarter where they had this team figured out?
This iso Melo bullshit is killing the game right now. He holds the ball too much with teamates open..... we got the lead going to Willy in the pick and roll. Everyone was touching the ball.

its like the movie Groundhog Day just over and over again lol
Willy is a vacuum for rebounds in the paint. Ball just gravitates to him without hops. Same with KOQ.
please take melo out of the game if he starts jacking up shots in the 4th
Maybe it's just me but it seems as if there are less than 10 seconds left on the clock, the Knicks have four absolutely superfluous players.

He has great hands.

He needs a role model or abetter coach who can teach him

No thanks.
Got another option for the role? I think Rubio is a reasonable option. We need a pass first PG.
I think if you are coaching Melo you have to save him from himself sometimes. You have to talk to him during FTs and call out plays on possessions after you see Melo doing to much. You have to tell him to keep calling for picks and drive and kick.
