They are over the cap and this guy wants them to make moves to make the team better. I got to admit that Melo doesn't do that he goes to battle with what the management gives him and in a way it is commendable.I realize that the Cavs are losing lately maybe because LBJ is throwing his teammates under the bus. I can see the other teammates thinking we won a championship with this guy and you want him off the team. I blame the losing on LBJ for saying we need a playmaker and so on. Its true they won a championship shouldn't he play with what got him there.
LBJ the player is one of the greatest athletes in human history. He can literally do it all and had close to zero flaws in his game in his prime. We are talking a transcendent level talent. '
LBJ the "marketing genius" and de facto GM of the Cavs 1.0, Heat and Cavs 2.0 is a complete and total idiot. He'd literally have 6-7 rings by now if he wasn't such a blithering idiot about his ability to run a franchise because he has the power and leverage to do so.
One of the reasons the Cavs are capped out is that Tristan Thompson is chewing up a ton of cap. His agent? Rich Paul, LBJs agent and LBJs "best friend" Anderson Varejao got a nice fat gift contract, because he's friends with LBJ. Mike Miller? Friends with LBJ.
The Kevin Love trade only happened because LBJ wanted it. Yes, a no defense PF who chew up massive cap would be more valuable than Wiggins, a cost controlled wing who was already a top shelf NBA defender even at the late college level.
Without the amnesty rule, the Heat would have never gotten Birdman, in which case I'd argue the Heat would have never won a ring period during the Big Three era. Bosh? A SF forced to play center. Wade? A SF who can't shoot a three point shot. LBJ, can play anywhere, but during that era, a SF. Mike Miller? A SF....
Great player but stupid dumb wannabe GM.
Nothing make me laugh more than arrogant Michael Jordan screwing up draft pick after draft pick, after spending years crushing and pissing on Jerry Krause for not doing exactly what MJ wanted with personnel. Krause actually built a team around Jordan.
This is where NBA players make me shake my head. Just not good enough to be a star BB player. Have to also be a singer. Or an actor. Or a fashion mogul. Or a TV personality. ( Did we not all see that happy horseshit play out with Tiki Barber?) And also a defacto GM.
LBJ has no one to blame for himself. Since Nike won't let anyone actually criticize him, the guy actually thinks the teams he forced together are not his own damn fault. Plays like Tarzan, emotionally rationalizes like Jane.
