Knicks · KP must learn the importnace opf the "pass" (page 1)

I cant emphasize enough from watching Nikola Jokic just how much KP needs to focus on all parts of the game including playing efficiently.

Jokic makes things easier for himself and Denver has started wining because of his great passing. KP gets the ball and he only has one focus--shot. The bad part is that shot can be from 30+ feet or other poor positions. He can take a few GOOD 3s if they come in rhythm--and if there not there dont take them. Jokic will try pass first unless its a point blank shot and if the pass is not there he still tries to put himself into position for a better shot. He does not try to take a harder shot--he tries to get closer to the basket. I think it would behoove KP to watch film on this SUPERIOR player. I think he can learn a lot from studying and incorporating the pass into his game.--taking better shots and refocusing on grabbing more rebounds on both sides. Hard to help out on the offensive glass from 30 feet.

He's not going to learn it from Melo and Rose, which is a big problem- at the moment he's learning nothing about team ball, which is why one or both of them have to go.

Knicks should have hired Patrick Ewing or Kurt Thomas to coach rookie KP on learning the center position.
KP should have learn how to position himself in the low post on offense/defense, plus learn how to kick-out the ball after grabbing a defensive rebound, and passing the ball on the perimeter to set up a play.
KP knows none of the above, and sports writers keep mentioning KP being the future of the Knicks ..
The Knicks future are a 7.3 wing player SMH!
All my silly Knick Fan friends in the Garden like KP shooting 30+ feet shots, and running into the paint for a put back or rebound. When Phil Jackson accepted this type of foolish talent from a 7.3 player i wanted Phil FIRED ASAP.
