What a sho! 30 footer!! Oh boy!
Chandler @ 2/4/2017 10:47 PM
Second unit shows what ball should be. Imagine ur top talent doing that

We'd have 55 wins

SocraticBallin22 @ 2/4/2017 10:48 PM
Nothing like the ingenious defensive strategy of Kurt Rambis switching every time on the screen and having KP and Willy guard Lebron. Let's play Russian Roulette!

And that is what a superstar does.

I actually thought KP played some good defense on Lebron - and that Lebron was struggling with how to attack KP.

Can't do it every time, which we do.

Chandler @ 2/4/2017 10:52 PM
It is bizarre. Phil in Chicago and LA had good defensive teams.

Now we're jokes

GoNyGoNyGo @ 2/4/2017 10:52 PM
The team needs to be free of Melo
MS @ 2/4/2017 10:53 PM
It's a fucking disgrace. These guys literally switch every play. Lebron was one on one with a center no shortage of two dozen times.

We lost the game on the free throw line tonight.

Can't be competitive if KP is going to constantly commit stupid fouls.

SocraticBallin22 @ 2/4/2017 10:53 PM
I'm taking nothing from this fake comeback except we didn't get embarrassed. It doesn't change the fact that we can't contain the ball or guard the 3 point line. We are going nowhere. Team seems to play better with Melo not on the court. We got KP and Willy up front--let's get Baker some burn the rest of the year, maybe get another young player and a 1st for Melo, and dive head first into the tank.

Those in favor say Yay

WaltLongmire @ 2/4/2017 10:53 PM
Totally ridiculous pass by James to Love...he's making the drive with that pass in mind-he knows KP will come in for the block.

Rambis's strategy is to have Willy and KP guard Lebron at the 3 point line extended. It's working wonders.

He is not the coach.

Also D is effort. Hard to be good when your top player gives varying effort on D

nyknickzingis @ 2/4/2017 10:54 PM
Melo 6-21 shooting 17 points
franco12 @ 2/4/2017 10:57 PM
can't have your top two players shoot 9 for 30
SocraticBallin22 @ 2/4/2017 10:58 PM
If Mark Jackson calls Willy Gomez one more time, Willy should chop him in the throat.

The switching seems to be done more and more these days- No way we did it this much earlier in the year.
NumberTwoPencil @ 2/4/2017 11:00 PM
Yeah, Melo.

However, the Knicks looked better coached, more focused, and generally a better _team_ tonight than I've seen most of the year. Melo and KP were iffy, at best but, I dunno, maybe Rose sitting out make the difference.
