Claims Oak has a "problem" with anger and alcohol.
Wonder if they even bother asking about Melo and Phil
Said he's going to honor Phil's contract to the end- will continue to give him full control to the end of their agreement. phew, he's refusing to step in regardless to whether he thinks Phil is right or wrong
Says Phil has 2 years left and will let Phil honour it and WILL NOT OPT OUT this offseason

That's fine. A prez should have 5 years to build a team. People underestimate how long it takes to turn a franchise around. Phil's tenure will be far from perfect, but if he leaves with KP growing into a franchise player and a few other really good players via draft and has a core that looks like it can eventually compete for a title if allowed to grow together, than he has done his job.
Hated the Oak stuff, relieved about the Phil stuff. Said he won't tell Phil not to trade melo. looks like if Phil doesn't opt out we have 2 more years without Dolan interfering with the Knicks
Media has such short memories- Kay begging Dolan to take control and fire Phil- everyone was begging for the opposite 3 years ago!
Damn Dolan admitted he made the Melo trade happen
Back to condescending Oak- just because Dolan was an alcoholic it doesn't give him any insight into Oak, or any right to insinuate he has a problem on radio.
Dolan just set the record for using the word "abuse" the most times in an interview

Obviously it was the key word he's been told to push by the PR team. trying to embellish it by saying the abuse had "sexual overtones" or whatever because Oak said they all sucked Dolans D***!
Decent interview overall. They probed a little more than I thought they would. Looks like dolans intentions are to ride with Phil until the end so Melo's sense of security may have taken a hit with that one.

Yeah that sheet of paper he briefly looked at before answering the first question must've had some key points like "blame Phil" and "abuse"

Yeah, we have a bit of stalemate now until the trade deadline
Some things still don't jive..Dolan said they have had a long relationship with Oak post retirement...Oak said he never met him..
Every single statement made by Garden employees indicate Oak was being a complete douchebag.

I think he was referring to the garden as an organization. He mentioned that they used to reach out to him often to invite him to games and such. It was probably one of the MSG reps and not Dolan himself.

geez, all it takes is a former knick great getting banned for life from msg for you to come out of the woodwork?

The freak show is perpetual.
