What about Mills, the defacto GM?
Phil is not just the team president, he is also "PHIL JAX" and he came with baggage and a strong history.
Naturally because the teams lack of success Isola and SAS make good ratings hating on him.
Fans hate the big money guys when they don't succeed. Melo gets some, and with Phil he gets plenty.

He doesn't have to speak to the media. It would be nice if he didn't leak things to his ghost writers or tweet things that create drama. But he does need to communicate with his peers that run other teams.

Crush, there are enough articles and quotes of Phil himself saying that Mills is the Knicks day to day guy who handles all communication and interaction with other teams, so much so that I know this. 1 anonymous quoted person saying they can't reach Phil directly is a lonely newspaper looking for clicks and looking to rile up fans with pointless drivel.

It isn't one anonymous quoted person. I listen to a lot of podcasts and guys that were in the league or are in the league say this about Phil. It isn't something new because the Post or Daily News printed it.

And? Mills does the day to day.

Phil basically said after his 5 yrs are up he's leaving. Basically indicated Mills can run the show after he leaves. Think the point was to establish a culture. So far the culture has not been good.

Crush, we all have our opinions, and some are derived from the media who feeds us information.
We all read much of the same stuff. We all see the games, and the win/loss record.

Some thrive on finding any criticism of a player, coach or exec that fits their agenda and with glee post it as to justify that position. Might not have any validity or come from a respected source.

Does it seem reasonable that PHil "CAN"T be reached? Do we get so blinded by proving ones agenda that we take all blogs, which are just someones opinion dressed up on a website and run with it as if its well researched? It could be second hand, or third, fourth hand as well.

What Im saying is watch the game and see the bad defense or lack of effort there. Whose fault is that? Players? coach? Player not executing? Obvious we want it changed, but when? How?

Melo holds the ball, well thats telling? If we win the game, its all good right? If not, Its on Who? Melo? coach? You see it, your not stupid, you know its not as easy as a quote.

Phil don't take calls? really? Says who? You know anyone or you just filling your agenda over and over.
I'll say it again, Phil is responsible for the team. he is the president. The win's and loss record speak loudly. It sucks.
But if you think Keep trading picks and was the answer and some how Phil ruined a good situation then I find your view not valid.
