What a complete fucking joke. Thats the breaking point for me. The people running this franchise are completely clueless and years more turgid bullshit awaits. We have a golden opportunity to tank and lose out but no, lets win some meaningless bullshit games and pad our wins. What a shambolic joke we are.
I'm a diehard knick fan but we must be the dumbest organization in sports since 2001

Calderon reference! lmao

Yeah we sure won "our championship"

If you watch all the other teams in our tank position (Orlando, Sac, Philly) they are not TRYING to lose games. We did the right thing tonight. Sat Melo and Rose. Played the young guys. They played great?
Hope for karma lottery balls

Not just in the US either, GLOBALLY. I literally have no idea what the fuck they are doing. We are a rudderless ship and there is zero chance of us improving with these people in charge.
Its been such a miserable season, this was one of the few bright spots. Knicks competitive without the usual starters. Lots of pick and roll, unselfish play (sometimes too unselfish) better D, this was fun.
Apologies to the tank brigade, but it was great to watch the Knicks surprise the Heat.

Yeah I'm so happy our young players (several of whom will never be good enough to play game in game out or at least substantial minutes) won us a game that could have repercussions for many seasons. Just thrilled.
75 games of sh@tty basketball and now they are trying to get things right.
This is SO good for these players (and esp young players) winning on the road against one of the hottest teams in the NBA trying to get in the playoffs beating them at their own game. We did everything right tonight for a change. Good habits lead to better habits. That's how you build. We're still getting a top 6 pick regardless.
The rest of the schedule is all very losable games sans Philly. We are still going to be doing a lot of losing. Relax and enjoy a good win for a change.
This proves that they listen to the coach and the ball hogs negative impact. coach said they should play like the heat. that's an insult to them and they responded with a win. don't forget how upset y'all were when Fisher went on a winning streak. it resulted in KP. RELAX

They haven't had any idea what they are doing for three years. Things aren't changing.
April fools day came a day early!

Nobody plays to lose (as a player) but sitting Willy, KP, and Lee down for the 4th quarter was the way to go.

No offense but that makes no sense. Yes I'm a fan of our young guys BUT winning at this point ONLY hurts us. if this was say 20 games ago I would agree. However you do understand that we are fucking up our draft position. Its a good draft but the more we win the tougher it gets to nab a possible cornerstone player. "Sticking it" to riley in a meaningless games does us no favors

Yet somehow the pro Melo crowd seems so intent to blame KP, Willy. Even go as far as saying KP should come off the bench.
Kp 22 points 7 boards 3 assists
Willy 10 points 12 boards
When the team wins or competes at a high level with these two it's just as good as getting a better tank spot in the draft. These young guys need these wins and reps in tough situations to see what they can do and where they can improve
Tonight was a big win for NY in the sense that with KP/Willy they are on the right path. If we can get a PG that did what Baker did tonight on a consistent basis (not realistic to ask that from Ron) with a bit more scoring punch we are really in a good spot

I understand the frustration but you can't tell kids playing to STAY in the NBA not to try. They played hard and beat a team straight up. We just have to see how the rest of the season plays out. I had a feeling something like this might happen. The kids actually execute and play hard on D. The Heat aren't that strong they just get by with hustle so there's always a chance you can beat them.
