#1 Josh Hart pick 40--Josh is a top 20 draft pick basketball player. Hes athletic 6-5 mobile tough confident winner long arms good defender can play some PG all the way to a small 3 consistent team player. Josh will be this years Malcolm Brogdon

#2 Frank Mason pick 59
Hes 23 on the shorter side not a great defender but he is an NBA 3 point specialist who knows the game runs a club well and I think his value range is in the mid to late 30's Hes going to

#3 T J Leaf pick 22 Im going 10-13 picks higher from 9-12 He's much more athletic than people realize hes a gamer hes got the fundamentals and mentality. He's long he can shoot in and out to 28 feet

#4 John Collins pick 16 Im going pick 5-7 In any other draft if it was evaluated properly--this is a top 5 pick or higher. Rare blend of speed strength size athletic ability with the post game and jumpshot to go with it. A high end NBA rebounder. His defense needs some work but thats teachable at a young 19 but still was a very decent shot blocking entity . At 6-10 240 this is like picking a young Horace Grant with more offense. His 40 min stats were 29 points 15 rebounds 1.4 steals 2.5 blocks 63%

Agree with most of this. I posted this earlier this week in the draft thread:

But I'm seeing what I consider smart posters analogize fultz to Eric Gordon. And Ball to Jason Kidd

Are the draftniks still thinking this is a super draft ? Seems like a lot of holes are being exposed

theres a lot of DEPTH in this draft. not only with starting caliber PG but also big men and senior wings.

hard to tell if anyone will be a CANT MISS FRANCHISE star. im not sure anyone is that good in this draft. the closest thing is markelle fultz and to me he has 25ppg potential. but this draft seems to have lots of depth - starters that could play a long time. with a lil luck and the right situation they could be great great players

I think this will be one of those drafts like 1996 where you have a run of REALLY good players sometime after the lotto in the first round. That draft had Iverson, Camby, Marbury, Ray Allen up front, but then a stretch in the middle of Kobe at 13, Peja at 14, Nash at 15, J Oneal at 17, Zydrunas at 20 (I remember that one so well because the Knicks had picks 18, 19, 21 and got John Wallace, Walter McCarty and Dontae Jones. Le sigh.

But these guys outside the top ten can be really good. And I'm sure there are plenty of guys I've never even heard of who can be great -

Og Anonuby
Justin Jackson
Jason Hart
John Collins
The Oregon guys - Bell, Brooks, Dorsey, etc
Frank Mason

If we could get Dillon Brooks at 44 and Frank Mason at 58, I'd do backflips.

I think Josh Hart will go too high for us, but we should be able to get someone really good at 44.

Don't discount the Knicks going Euro in the second round, though.

I like Dillon Brooks but in my mind he was slightly exposed and dropped a tad. Doesnt mean he wont be a solid nBA player in anyway

I was really impressed by DJ Wilson. Has that sort of glue guy game. I could see him being a guy Phil liked in the second round. Feels Triangle-y.

TJ Leaf--why isnt he a top 10 pick? Hes getting the white man's basketball discount

It's hard for me to tell if he was a product of Lonzo Ball or if Lonzo Ball was greatly helped by him. I could see him being a David Lee type with more athleticism... but I'd be hesistant to use a lotto pick on him. Draft.net has him at 12 though.

He's not a Knick pick with KP on the roster--but hes a really good prospect at 6-10+. Hes the new prototypical 4 man. Think about it--Aaron Gordon went pick 33 TJ Leaf is taller and can actually shoot and pass.

Yeah man.. I've been watching him more closely towards the end of the season and in the tournament. He is very athletic and mobile for a guy his height.. He's 6'10" and his length helps him block shots and be a beast on the boards.. you would expect a guy like this to be in the first round but he's really under the radar.. I forgot to mention that he shoots the 3 at a pretty efficient percentage.
