Keeps saying Melo deal is a long way off. Talking about how contenders with a quick exit might be willing to trade for Melo. Said that he got offers but other teams werent willing to give up core players.
Phil is a man that contradicts himself as he talks more. That's not surprising though.

we get it dude lol
Says team needs to get more talented, and thats the end of the conference. Missed some questions, worth seeing it for yourself.
Horrible press conference, as I said in the beginning a bunch of vague answers, and straight lies..said he didn't think he criticize melo..lol..said he holds the BALL, thats what he does
It was a good press conference. May not agree with everything but he was honest.

he does hold the ball...most know that. Its not a knock

I disagree and thought it was terrible and lame. He didn't seem to take ownership for his mistakes at all.
Melo has to leave..It's the only way Phil will take responsibility..Dude is delusional..

he did say the buck stops here so he did indicate that he hasnt done the job. I do agree he should have definetly taken ownership for the noah signing

He was throwing Melo under the bus.

well you said it was a criticism when its the truth. Im not defending phil because he has made bonehead moves too. But melo doesnt have thick skin. All garnett had to do was say honey nut cheerios and melo lost it
What was interesting tho is that Phil indicated that Melo put up the teams he wanted to be traded to and the package wasn't acceptable to Phil...
Reactions from press folks who used to cover the Knicks but work elsewhere and no longer have to be impartial

well its probably better for us to wait for the summer. Teams probably would offer a better return

Before he said the bucks stops here he said something to the affect that he didn't take a single dribble or make any substitutions and then said but the bucks stop with him. That is not taking ownership. That's saying its not my fault but I will claim its my fault in front of the media but like I said I didn't do anything wrong.
The dude is not a leader at all.

again im not defending phil. Ive listed his mistakes many times. HOWEVER he is gonna be here for 2 years regardless so lets see what happens
And still has no clue on where the team is going,
