Knicks · Ntilikina practicing in Melo owned Manhattan gym.(Buried at end of Berman Holiday article) (page 1)

The 18-year-old point guard Frank Ntilikina, who played in the French League for LNB Pro A and is a projected lottery pick, was videotaped working out in the Carmelo Anthony-owned gym in Manhattan. The Knicks scouted the 6-foot-5 prospect in France. Ntilikina should be around if the Knicks pick around sixth or seventh. Draft workouts can begin in late April.

Read into it what you want, but I thought it interesting, though I would think other Euros opting for the draft might also be in NYC doing the same thing, too.

Anyone know a source with some clips of his workout?

I saw that as well. I think there is a strong chance he's the guy if the workouts are great

Melo has one of the few invite only/ reservation only basketball gym in the city. It's really a Jordan Brand gym. We're going to see alot of draft picks practicing there this off season/draft

I hope Phil/Gaines goes for the best player available regardless of position. We have needs at all positions and the ones we are good at, like Clee, they are tradable if need be.

That was back before I saw Phil ended Melo's marriage. I'm back on the Phil Hate Train.

Funny but I was also thinking of a Jrue n Isaac summer. Just seems like a very good use of Free Agency and the Draft. I think those moves would actually move the needle.

You say that but players we like that go higher in the draft tend to be great players. KP is the only time that wasn't the case and no one knew until after summer league

Crzy you and I disagree on Phil but I appreciate that u back up your "complaints" w evidence and analysis!

Isaac appears solid but where do you see him playing? If we are 5-7 pick I'll take Fox. His jumper seemed fine in the tournament and you can't teach speed. He's got great hands, penetrates, dominated Ball, and is pass first. He can play D. I suspect he will be gone when we pick however. Isaac is a PF no? If that's so, what of KP - does he play 5? What of Willy ? We need lots but a floor general would be paramount
