I got a feeling the Lakers fall out the top 3 and we jump in. That will give Philly the Lakers pick. In return, it accelerate the rebuild of two franchises that will lead the next wave in the NBA in 2-3 years. Don't think about it, just believe it.

Finally all the hard work, all the losing, all the tanking....it finally pays off. I feel like we're in the Eastern conference finals.

Tonight all Knicks fans should put aside their differences about Phil, Melo, KP, Rambis, and the like and sync up with positive thoughts to make our ping pong ball elevate in the 1 slot!

I am going to call the Knicks dropping to 8 thru 10, since we are dumb and dysfunctional, and deserve lots of karmic punishment.

Not 10 odds would be astronomical Im starting with 8 and hoping for better. This way were at 8 I can accept it--its a bit of a slap in the face because we should have 6 clear--but thats life. Im not expecting anything good.

its really insane. I cant remember a bigger impact to draft placement. Ever. They not only lose this years but they lose two years from now also. Or not!

We do this every time and get disappointed. I don't care where we pick for the first time since going to the ping pongs.

The good news here is there isn't a ton of downside here. At worst, we drop a spot (#8) and still land a top tier player. This draft has 10 guys who go top 5 in most drafts, meaning, the players available at #7 or #8 should be a future high-level starter. Moving up would be a pleasant surprise, but it certainly doesn't make or break us. LAL and Sacramento in particular, have a lot riding on this, and so many scenarios that can play out will determine the future of those franchises. For us, it's just about drafting the BPA where we land, and plug them into the core group of KP and Willy, which gives us a reasonably bright future, having 3 good, young players as a start.
