Long athletic will be able to defend 1-5 like durant.mcan shoot create on his own. He was inconsistent in college due to Coach playing 13 deep in players. He is an impact player.....we also pick up another top12 pick n select a pg
Isaac’s game has its share of weaknesses, many the type you’d expect from a one-and-done who played relatively few minutes (Draft Express also listed “has asthma” as one of his weaknesses, to which my Albuterol inhaler and I offer a cheery middle finger). His frame is slight, meaning on offense he gets bumped off his spot and on defense guards can power through him when they challenge him. His jump shot is inconsistent. While not as extreme a case as Lonzo Ball, Isaac is far more comfortable shooting while moving to his left than his right, and defenses will know that. A number of scouts point out Isaac bobbles an inordinate number of passes because his hands are small. Small hands won’t stop a guy from becoming the worst president ever, but they’re a potential impediment for an NBA hopeful.
if he's available, I agree but the problem is that he won't be
Tatum I have a feeling is going to drop.

That would be awesome if he dropped to #8 but i see Isaac dropping to 8 before i see Tatum dropping. Someone usually does drop though so with us losing the coin flip and then dropping a spot in the lottery it sure would be nice if we come away from this draft a winner. We need to see guys like M.Monk, DSJ and then like a L.Markanaan or a Frank Nitty or a surprise like Z.Collins go top 7 and then someone like J.Tatum could have a chance of dropping to us.

No chance Vmart--he looks awesome in some of his pre draft workouts--not possible hes going top 5.

That was exactly what everyone said about Winslow when he came out he fell all the way to 10.

Winslow is a Sg who can't shoot

He is a SF. And came out of college shooting 42% from three. Duke players don't carry the weight that people think they do.
Philly would have to start it off by passing on Jackson for Fox. Then Suns would take Jackson. A Jackson/Fox swap at the draft will probably happen between these 2 teams. Sac would then have to fall in love with Smith jr at #5, Orlando would then have to select Monk at 6 over Tatum which is hard to envision but possible. Elfrid and Monk are perfect for each other. Orlando has the #25 which they can sell themselves on landing a shooting forward to compliment Gordan as well like Tyler Lydon which making them feel a guard like Monk is more necessary. Have to believe if Tatum and Isaac are left on board Minny would go Tatum.
I like him a lot- nice skills, great character. If you look at him as a defensive player first with potential on offense then he seems a very nice prospect

I think he'll go high, he just has the 'it' factor when you watch him play- thought that since I first saw him play a few weeks ago.

It's very hard to see him falling past the Kings, who desperately need a go-to scorer and have uad a penchant for pursuing gunners.
I don't mean to deter from the conversation but do people prefer Isaac's potential to Josh Jackson's?

I do. I don't think Jackson style and release will make it on the next level at a high level but even if it does his ceiling is not as high as Isaac's

I agree. I think he makes some all defensive teams and I think his offense develops. Isaac and KP in the front court would really help with the rebuild.

We'd also get pushed around a lot by a bunch of shooting guards and small forwards.
So how did Durant do? I'm sure he is benching 185 unlike Durant did coming out of college..knock it off

I've only seen that FSU v Florida game but walked away feeling ambivalent about Isaac. I see the potential but wonder if he'll put it all together. I know that ESPN had an article that pegged him as being the sleeper of this draft but still have some skepticism. But I'm not terribly intrigued with anyone outside Fultz, Ball, Jackson and Tatum, so I'd roll the dice on him if available given how touted he is. What os his NBA comparison?
