Knicks · KP trade to Boston or no?? (page 1)

What do you guys think? I know its blasphemous to even talk about but with the possible kp trade happening would you guys do this?

KP to Boston for #8 and Jaylen Brown(or Jae Crowder) for Bostons #3.

We draft Markenen at 8 who is kinda like a KP light, draft Josh Jackson at #3, make him our number 1 option in the triangle. Buyout Melo if possible.

Jackson is basically Scotty Pippen. I think it would work, but damn I don't want get rid of KP :(

Markinnen is nowhere near KP's level on both ends.

JJ is tempting but in addition to KP, not in place of!

I listen to offers but they have to be really good.

This deal is not good. Why would the knicks have to give up #8 too??? I wouldn't even consider #3 plus Brown for KP. And I LOVE Josh Jackson and Fox for that matter.

The offer would have to be 2017 #3 pick plus next year's Brooklyn pick plus another 1st rounder somewhere in next 3 years.

Then Knicks at least would have the potential to build a legit team:

2017: #3 + #8
2018: 2 high lottery picks -- Our own + Brooklyn pick

If Boston says no we hold on to KP. No worries.

Not dealing with the boss Ain't cool and neither were his brothers comments to management... "despite how management treats its players"...

Thus rather than let a 21 year old dictate, get your picks and either KP wakes up or he and Melo can pack and we will get plenty for KP and upgrade our # 8. Fox and Tatum sound good along with Billy. I like KP a lot but you don't push your boss around in the press and he's been disrespectful to the franchise.

KP is worth all of that? If you were Boston would you do that?

Agree with most of this, but KP has said he won't re sign if traded that will limit what people are willing to give up for him. And while he disrespected the organization, I am still interested in seeing if he can correct that once the poisonous influence of Melo and or seeing how he acts is removed.
