Knicks · Jay Williams: Top 15 player said Phil was nodding off during his workout (page 1)

Said he couldnt stay awake. Stephen A Smith said while Magic was at the combine for days, Phil was there for a couple of hours. Let the excuses begin.....
CrushAlot @ 6/22/2017 1:14 PM
I just spit out my drink laughing. No worries. Phil has got this.

That said, it's curious in a forum in which people become passionately convinced what college freshman will have the best NBA career based on YT videos, an argument is being advanced that its useful for the guy with the #2 pick to be at the combine for days.

If you dont give a shit, whats your excuse for your pissy posting? Some of us would like the man who will decide who to draft to stay awake for the fucking workouts.

It came in an interview with Jay Williams on OTL, just another lying member of the media right?

Its even more curious that you seem to be ok with this style of mgmt. considering Phil's record.

And starting a thread here is going to help with that?

The irony here is people complaining about the drama Porzingis and/or Jackson and/or Melo have caused are desperately looking for it wherever the can find it so they can make indignant threads about it.

None of this matters, people just want it to matter.

Cmon now..Counting 60 million dollars is exhausting, he deserves his cat naps.

You know he has to keep starting over once he reaches the 1st million

Just more evidence that Phil doesnt know WTF he is doing. If you are telling me that sleeping through workouts with a possible lottery pick is a good thing, a good image for the franchise, then enjoy the drama that follows. You deserve it.

When you say that sleeping though a workout is no big deal, that isn't what I would call criticism of his mgmt style.

1. Phil was not sleeping. He was meditating.
2. Phil was not sleeping, he was seeing the future.
3. Phil was not sleeping, he was reading the players mind.
4. Phil was sleeping, The player sucked.

5. Phil was not sleeping. He was meditating on the 60 million he stole from the Knicks.

Phi Jackson's performance as the Knicks president is a complicated, nuance issued. To glom on a twice removed report of a guy maybe nods off/maybe closes while a guy is maybe doing drills is just desperation that distracts from more important, more legitimate, more relevant questions.

Yes, maybe nodding off during a workout of an undisclosed player isn't a big deal.

That you immediately equated that to a wholesale endorsement of Jackson's tenure speaks for itself.
