Isola is saying a Knicks source is saying what codeunknown said, and that there is another flavor where we get less but ship Noah
this is totally BS, I just read where they completely back off saying the knicks want a kings ransom, and half the leagues is laughing at phil

I'd prefer the talent. Noah's deal doesn't bother me that much.
I wanted to trade KP for the #1 pick this year- but a pair of top lottery picks would go a long way to helping us rebuild.
But how are we letting Phil call the shots? If we're trading KP after only 2 years, it means we made a mistake. Er, rather Phil did.
Which means he's done NOTHING right in his tenure.

BLIND, DEAF and DUMB! You really think no one is calling about KP even with a high asking price? Teams will keep talking until the last minute.
I would have no problem trading kp and noah for the 3rd pick and smart

Phil isnt gonna trade him for the sake of trading him. It should be for a kings ransom otherwise he is staying put and we move forward with KP

WHAT? Come on B! What Phil has done is add assets and now he's trying to use an asset to grab MORE assets. How is this a bad thing???

For some people whatever Phil does, thinks about doing, is rumored to want (even if completely baseless) are ALL BAD THINGS.

EXACTLY. Look Phil definetly deserves criticism for some of his moves that's fine but some just hate anything he says or does.
The Celtics have offered the Knicks a deal for Kristaps Porzingis that includes their No. 3 pick, an additional lottery pick that they think they can acquire tonight and a player, executives familiar with Boston's offer told ESPN. Obviously, the trade would be contingent on Boston acquiring that pick, which would likely be ahead of the Knicks' No. 8 pick. It is unclear at this point if the Knicks have interest in the trade. Phil Jackson said the club is taking calls on trades for Porzingis.
Ian Begley, ESPN Staff WriterWould that mean possible 3 picks in first 8? I think that's a no brainer
wait kp for jaylen brown, jae crowder and the number 3 pick this year plus a pick that will most likely be top 5 next year plus we keep all of our picks.
kp for jaylen and jae plus we get number 3 plus keep number 8.
ummm ok
i want to say let him carry his latvian ass but i like the kid, but damn thats a haul, especially if we get to keep all of our picks this and next year

Initial appeal is the single most important factor in most transactions; KP has been built up into a marvel, one of the few advantages of he NY media market. Trust me, no one is laughing, regardless of the silly bravado. Most are worried about missing the opportunity to get him.
If KP really wants to remain a Knick he needs to call Phil
Because that Boston offer is ridiculous
3rd pick
Another top 7 pick
Plus a proven player from their rotation
Knicks will probably take that unless Phil was playing games
KP needs to make calls asap if he wants to stay a Knick

oh, im not disagreeing with the kings ransom, thatsabout the only smart thing he's doing

while that's a huge quantity of assets, KP will likely far and away be the best player in the deal. He's viewed as Dirk 2.0. There's a reason that Ainge, the guy who stockpiles picks like his life depends upon it, is willing to entertain trade discussions with us, despite Phil's incredibly high asking price
One things for sure KPs value around the league is much more than most could have imagined
Kids never made an all star team or played more than 70 games a season and he's getting proven superstar like offers
If we ever plan on trading KP I don't see his value ever surpassing this
Brown, 3 and Brooklyns 2018 gets it done. They can keep Crowder. Do it Phil.
This deal almost sounds ike too much. Im willing to tweak down if it gets me Jackson and a few nice assets.
Standing pat might be a mistake--tweak down and get a deal consummated.

You may be right. But if you get 2 all-stars out of it plus another good piece that would probably speed up the rebuild. Plus we have our own pick which should be a good player. I'm not saying I want it to happen but it would be a bigtime haul for a 2nd year player

Hoarded assets don't make an impact to games until realized. Ainge saves them for just in case something like this comes available. Good move by Ainge and a good move by Phil for drafting the right player that can help get assets for a rebuild.
