These guys are playing grown-up ball, by the way. I see a lot of athleticism and physicality out there.

Have to admit that I've been surprised at the level of play I'm watching.

Still at work and can't watch. It's his defense as good as advertised?
dacash @ 6/23/2017 3:41 PM

Liking Strausbourg's unis.

Frank looks tall and long out there....no problems so far with the handle.
Andrew @ 6/23/2017 3:47 PM
D looks very good...good aat getting around picks.

Had one steal...fights through picks- picked up an illegal pick foul at one point.

Not a lot of 1/1 D isolation D, but no player has blown past him. Both teams are also running set offenses- not a lot of ISO ball.

Refs let a lot of contact get by. Frank was mugged on one play with no call. This is much more physical than college ball, and the picks are NBA tough. You really have to fight through hard picks as a guard on D.

As I said before, I'm quite surprised at the level of play in this game. Would be quite happy watching games of this caliber with English broadcasters.

Wingspan is noticeable on D
fishmike @ 6/23/2017 3:49 PM
impact game... Frank has already had several take over moments on both sides of the ball. First half he hit some nice Js and really showed a great motor on both sides of the ball. He got pulled after a couple TOs. One call was dubious. 2nd half he's showing more of the same. He's one of the highest impact guys on the floor. Im impressed with what I am seeing considering his age, and he was at the draft last night. Dude is leaving it ALL out there. If you had doubts about this player this would be a good sample to sink into. Franks really showing a lot.

May have just picked up a 4th or 5th foul stopping a fast break and now is on the bench.

I really like the sound of all of that. I am really excited about having three above average defenders in the starting 5. (Assuming Lee is still there)

Chalon just had too much.

Phil drafted the wrong Frenchman!

Andrew @ 6/23/2017 4:16 PM
Frank looked solid....not going to wow with 1:1 play but looks like he is going to be solid year 1.

I was happy with what I saw. Hard not to be considering what that kid's last couple days were like.

I wasn't entirely paying attention but I am 90% positive that I heard Michael Kay mention that his team lost.

WaltLongmire @ 6/23/2017 8:22 PM
Yeah...they lost. They other team hit some big 3s during the 4th quarter. Score was a few points either way for most of the game.

Some strange calls- they really let it get rough.

Don't know what the other teams in the league are like, but I saw some quality ball, and actually enjoyed it even though the team I was rooting for lost.
