How does isola still have a job. The more I pay attention to him the dumber he sounds
That was your first mistake
Haha. Point taken.
The Utah Summer League ***** all over the Orlando Summer league. Orlando looks like its at your local YMCA. Its pathetic that they even have this set up for the NBA standards even if they are fringe NBA players playing. There is no way to get accurate development and scouting playing 5 games in that crap.
Its poor judgement by the Knicks for even participating in that location.

Do you mean for the coaches or the fans? Coaches can't tell how good their players are because of the size of the gym?

That statement may have been to strong. But you can't tell me its ideal environment for the coaches. Why settle for less the the best possible situation.
Christian Wood is funny. One trip up the floor he does the kind of things that gets you cut, the next trip up, he looks like a top pick.

Also, a lot of networking is done in Vegas. I see no reason why the Knicks couldn't send a team to both leagues.
Our summer league team was a good chance to see what Dotson and Ntilikina can do. Unfortunately looks Frank won't be healthy.
Right thing to do in holding him out a little. Give him some time.
I liked Dotson. Looks like he has a NBA frame, NBA level athleticism and a good outside shot. Think he will make it in the NBA as a backup/off the bench wing.

Dotson has Michael Redd potential. His shot has looked great. Dude is shooting 50% from 3. If that continues into the regular season, he will be the steal of the draft. But he only looks useful as a catch and shoot player, so Horny is going to have to build that into the offense.
Kalin Lucas looks good so far. I haven't watched a ton of sl but everyone I have seen looks good against Randle.
Randle has looked really bad running the point in this game. Not sure he is worth a roster spot.

He didn't look this bad in summer league last year. I don't know what happened. I hope he gets it together by training camp.

We got a player in Dotson: active defensively, good rebounder for his position and elite shooter. Only needs to work on his ball handling and ability to create.
Looks like the Knicks are going to play T 8 am tomorrow.
how is our summer league roster this bad? I realize Frank is out, but still.
I saw how they were playing....we had a very short team out there....looked like Plumlee with 4 guards and it looked terrible with lack of rebounding guards
and you would think spacing would be better with Plumlee the only big on the floor but even that was terrible on offense.
Did not see today's game, but intrigued by Dotson's line: 28mins, 3REB, 4AST, 2STL, 1BLK, 8PTS on a poor shooting night (4-11, 0-2). Tells me he is more than a shooter. Intrigued if we can continue our 2nd round magic with this kid.

Maybe .. maybe Vegas didn't want us because

Randle is a scoring-guard u set plays up for him to score or dish .. Randle n Baker sharing the point in last year SL team worked well.
Dotson as a big-guard shows potential of only needing a rookie season experience to find all his shots ..
Mills need to makes some move to sign Rondo to lead our young guards for a season or two.
Looks like the Knicks are going to notch their first win in SL. Been watching on and off. One advantage to signing Kornet is KP will be going up against another mobile 7fter in practice. A good way to test out some of those post moves he's supposed to be working on.
