Thoughts? Who would we get?
there aren't a whole lot of trades that work under the cap. one that does is ryan anderson/montrez harrel for melo. but ryan anderson has a HORRIBLE contract (4yr,18mill a year), not so sure i'd do that. eric gordon/ariza works under the cap, but i can't see the rockets wanting to give up both gordon and ariza. suffice to say, there aren't a lot options.

That's what I was thinking. No way they trade Gordan though.

i would tend to agree, but gordon might be the odd-man-out in this situation. with paul and harden in the fold, gordon would have to accept a bench role (most likely, although i guess you could play all 3 at the same time) and im not sure gordon wants to do that. they also might want to dangle gordon for melo or pg13. i wouldn't mind taking gordon, but he's ALWAYS hurt, so its kind of a catch22.
CP3-Harden-Melo team would be a disaster. All three of those players don't play well if the ball isn't in their hands. And none of them are good defenders which is half the game. Clumsy balance. Honestly think it would lose more games than Houston did last season.
