Hayward was leaving. There is nothing they can do abkut that if he let it be known to them privately that he was out to Boston. But Rubio doesnt fit them at all. They need a shooter. To play off of Covert and Favors. Now if they trade Favors for a stretch 4. Then it makes sense to run PNR with Rubio and Gobert.

I'm pretty sure this definitely means they won't bring Hill back. Sounds like he might go back to San Antonio. This is the guy i've been wanting all along and even compared Frank Nitty to him but i' don't see any way for us to get him when there will be good teams wanting him.

Eny, we both agree I think the smartest thing the team can do right now is as little as possible,
allow stability and organic player/team/coach growth and not try to change culture/other bs/etc
Best thing is Mills pres Allan Houston pretty face GM front no major moves chill for a year let the cats play don't trade anyone. A free agent PG and the team as is will be fine for a year. Let it play out. Don't change what little shit was done well the past 3 yrs. Don't you think the team as is would be way better next year w Teague or G Hill and Frank N compared to Rose and playing Jeff's offense?
