Think they saved us from ourselves.

Was about to say 'hello Rubio', then saw the Jazz trade. Oh well.

Only by us. But it makes good sense. Or Rondo if we have to.

Paul George to OkC!

NY going for Holiday.

SocraticBallin22 @ 6/30/2017 10:03 PM
We would have overpaid for him and he wouldn't have made us much better. I'm glad.
GustavBahler @ 6/30/2017 11:27 PM
If it was a choice between an expensive 4 year deal or nothing, then Im glad they passed. Just want to see the Knicks sign a veteran PG for 2 years unless they're a game changer. Please, another team sign Rose.

Players can now use the Knicks to drive up their contracts, since coming here seemingly more believable than when Phil was here.

Honestly who cares, our goal should be to make KP the main man and develop our young gun in Willy and frank, and Dotson . Let's move lee for expiring or a first . Let's get a top 3 pick to go along with Willy, KP, and frank

Isn't that NY media told us this dude is now considering now because that stupid Phil is gone?

What?? He doesn't even intend to give us an interview? Where is the respect we got because we fired Phil?? We fired Phil!! Every FA is supposed to give us a chance because we are now no longer a joke! What is it now? I need sources! I need Isola and Bondy and Ian Begley now!! I need to hear that some first tier FA are coming here when I am singing and dancing around Phil's corpse.

3 year/$57 million is not that unreasonable for Teague.

They are paying nearly $20 million per year to a guy who might nor be a starting caliber PG by the time his contract is over. I'd say that is unreasonable.

Only a three year deal and the guy just turned 29 so he'll only be 32 at the end of his deal. In this new salary structure where Harrison Barnes, Nicholas Batum, Steven Adams and Chandler Parsons are getting $22-23m, I think that Teague deal is reasonable, especially considering it's only 3 years.

Conley, who never made an all-star team (Teague has), will be making $28-$32m over the next four years and he's the same age as Teague. It's not about what WE think a player is worth but what the market dictates his salary should be relative to what other players are getting. Based on that I think Teague got a very reasonable deal. Not a bargain but reasonable. I would've been comfortable if the Knicks signed him to that deal.

The guys has average 16 and 6 for four seasons. His contract is fairly reasonable expecially the length of it.

If holiday is making $25MM per with no resume on a 5 year deal the Knicks are in a lot of trouble.

This is why you take Dennis Smith Jr whose ready to contribute. You need Willy, KP, Smith all clicking at the same time to make the Knicks a destination. Frank is years away and by the time he's ready KP will have to be resigned. You just can't make a team work at these new crazy numbers.

The NBA is going to be in real trouble, once a curry or griffin gets heart and a team is paying 40MM for one player. The numbers are so out of hand it's insane.

He hasn't played any games yet. We don't know if he is yrs away or not. KP, Willy both were able to contribute right away based on their pro experience. Granted Frank will have way more pressure due to having the ball in his hands as a guard.

Frank's defense is ready now.
