How does Melo to Cavs work unless Lebron takes a serious haircut which he won't do.
There was an interesting article about LeBron not recruiting anyone this offseason, like offseasons past. Looks like he's gone. Surprised Melo wants to waive his no trade clause for that situation. You'd think he would want to go to a contender with a longer shelf life. Not sure how he would feel seeing LeBron in LA, and he's stuck on a mediocre team in Cleveland, lol.
Think Melo to Cavs and Love to Utah and Knicks getting cap relief & young assets is the move.
Utah has expiring deals of Joe Johnson SF & Boris Diaw PF with the combination of youngsters Dante Exum PG & the rights to their 2017 1st rounder Donovan Mitchell SG would do it for me.
The salaries all work.
Cavs need to answer the Celtics move; Utah would reunite Love with Rubio and bring a star name to replace their last star name.
I think LeBron and Melo have been working together to get Melo to the Cavs, and I do think Utah is now the third part of the deal.
They been on Ainge's arse for missing Paul George and not parting with the treasure they have.
Then they get Haywood for free.
Why Tatum then??? Still, if Ainge plays it right they can win now, and still build on it.

Tatum is a great small ball 4. They have a nice collection of Forwards and they will need them all to compete with the Cavs
