Clippers are in a hard cap situation, post Gallo signing.
If they are meeting Rose, it has to be via sign and trade they are looking at.
What would the Knicks want?
Since it's a hard cap situation the Clippers are in, they can not take in more salary than they are sending out.
So say Rose takes a 1+1 deal with the first year being a $15M deal, then Knicks have to take back atleast that much in salary.
What do they have thats of value though?
We all want Patrick Beverly... Beverly and Wesley Johnson for Rose could get the salary up to 15 mill....
I don't know what they have left. I thought they did well with the Pauk trade. I don't think Gallo is a good signing for them. Gallo, Rose and Blake on the same team seems like a big risk. How many times do you go after guys with really bad injury histories?

Patrick Beverly is injury prone too. I just want Beverly in a Knick uniform
If they were willing to trade Beverly for Rose, I would do that deal and they actually might be interested.

I think Bevgerly was the value they got back in the Paul trade. I can't see them trading him. I would love him on the Knicks.

I like Beverly, but not as a starter, I don't think he was ever a starter?

He started 240 games for Houston, according to Basketball Reference.
