Nice. I would love to seethe Knicks grab Cat Barber and/or Pierre Jackson. Barber is a lot like Ish Smith Nd PJax resembles Isiah Thomas a little. Jeff has done well with these types of guards.

I think with Ron being a player that yet to prove he can start at the NBA level and Frank being the youngest player in the league right now, taking on a 3rd project would not be wise.

I'd go with a veteran who is coming for cheap. I think Cleveland signed Jose, but Jose would have been a pretty good mentor for these guys because he's not trying to get their jobs, but would advise them on how to call plays, how to make passes at the right time, just how to handle the NBA season. Jose wasn't very good but he had a 10+ year career in the NBA, is an international and didn't explode with athleticism.

Anyone like Jose would be solid. Even Jennings wasn't bad I thought. Only problem with Jennings was that he whined and pouted when he got benched. We need a vet who will not whine and pout when he is benched for the younger guys.

I think Hornachek did well with Baker. They had chemistry. I thought Jeff had good chemistry (player/coach wise) with Baker, Porzingis and some of our role players. Thought where the blatant lack of chemistry was with Rose/Horny, Melo/Horny. I really feel Baker will surprise people next year if he's given minutes in how much better he will make things for those around him. Baker could care less about his own shot and his own stats. He would pass the ball to Frank, he would pass to Willy, he would pass to KP. He sets players up and runs whatever the coach wants. On D he is very physical and takes pride in D. On a rebuilding team, a character guy like that is important so guys don't start playing selfish chucking no pass basketball to put up their numbers.

Just get Rondo - takes grit to a different level. Then if he starts whining too much cut him.

or when he is openly defiant with the coach? Or loses patience with the rookie?
This guy is a talent, but on the spectrum a bit. Has he not been now waived by three teams in three years?
Bulls mostly financial, but still, they paying him to go away. They are doing a youth movement and don't want him around.

Sign Rondo

Teodosic is gone to the Clips, I hear. We need some kind of a veteran force at PG, even if its only Rondo, Sergio or even Mack. I can't believe I'm asking for Shelvin Mack.

I would consider signing Baron Davis to mentor frank- don't expect him to play, but I do think he'd be great as a mentor/player coach
