Off Topic · Off Topic: six months later, do people who voted for Trump still support this guy? (page 66)

I mean for christ sakes, the Illnois governor acutally passed legislation last week for state funded abortion even though virtually all of its voting population are so against it.

I've never been a fan of conspiracies but if there is something going on, now would be the time because this GOP is really getting on my nerves.

"Donald Trump complained to Puerto Rican hurricane victims this week that their suffering is throwing his budget "out of whack," but for the same cost as the first family's exorbitant travel, the government could have sent nearly 130 cargo ships to the island, a new analysis shows.

The president and first family have reportedly spent an unprecedented $32 million on trips to Mar-a-Lago and other exclusive Trump properties across the country — so much, in fact, that the online document company FormSwift decided to convert the extravagent budget into its equivalent in humanitarian aide."

They spend all their time last year criticizing and now they can't get the necessary shit done. They can all go fuck themselves and I hope more donors close up their wallets and give these sad sons of stupid bitches a wake up call. Pathetic.

I wish the exact same for both parties. Establishment politics it's truly fukked.

The first article is a good read it kind of broaches a topic that has been of interest to me for a while - does true democracy lead to gridlock by necessity? If it was simple majority decision making and the country was evenly split on most issues is it the will of the majority or the will of the handful of undecided holdouts that finally cast their votes that get exercised? And what is "representative government"? Can one person elected to the highest office truly represent anything? If all we are going to get is the 80-20 rule then is the electoral college really as good as it will ever get?

And on top of all this Trump's EPA Admin Scott Pruitt was in Coal Country to rollout his doing away with Obama's Clean Energy Rules and to stump for bringing Coal Back! Like we don't already see how Climate Change is affecting our weather in a negative way. This is MADNESS.
