Well, suppose he wouldn't have stuck around with us since that does seem to be a promotion for him. But I do wish we coule've kept him in aome capacity.

Perry's strength is working with players and his relationships with players and agents. I am ok with some turnover here. Let them bring their own guys in.
He landed in a great spot. The Hawks are one of the best developmental teams in the league.
This is a huge promotion for a guy that has no head coaching experience in college, or pro what so ever!!!

If this was his trajectory then it was destined he was not coming back. Knicks might have known this as since there was no room for him on the bench (front row) and there was a buzz about him then its best for all.
Knicks don't really do "rumors" and it was put we had no room for him and he was redundant.
