Why cant the arched "New York" on the front match the arc on the back?

The current version is tepid. Caught between a straight line and the traditional "New York" arch.
Weak.

yeah, I agree, I liked the old lettering better, also the darker blue. OKC road blue is very similar now. I think the contrast shows better on TV now was their reason.
