He was driving 170km/h instead of 90km/h

I remember going after Tyreke Evans on RealGM in the Kings forum when he drove about 120MP on Interstate 80. Almost all of their posters had thought it was nothing. I could not believe their responses.

Not a smart thing...you put other people's lives at risk and can destroy your career if you are injured or killed.

I have no idea what the roads are like in Latvia, but I am a bit disappointed with him.

What kind of car was KP driving? Can't believe this information has been left out!

Thats a bad ass ride. As long as KP doesn't drive like JR Smith, dont care if he gets a speeding ticket now and then.

Better question is WTF are you talking about?

arkrud @ 9/25/2017 4:24 PM
I was also driving 150 km/h around Latvia in 90th on my BMW 5 model...
But back then I just needed $5 bribe for the cups to keep going.
Grate old times... not any more...
KP should drive on German Autobahn on this car - there are no speed limits in Germany, only recommended speed.
But they have minimum allowed speed on each Autobahn lane.

In Latvia 55 miles per is max speed allowed period.
105 is a bit overboard but driving 80-85 is very common.
The roads are great and straight and not too many cars outside the cities.
But if he get cut he get busted. Will learn his lesson.

Hope he realizes how irresponsible this is. Showing his age but hopefully he learns from the mistake.

Depends on the situation IMO. Speeding while weaving in and out of traffic, thats one thing. Opening up your V-8 on a near empty stretch of highway is another.

I did this like 100 times.
You leave as per what the environment of the country is at a time.
People in US are under impression that all world is leaving at our moral standards.
Guess what - not even close.
As Russian saying goes - "Leave with the wolves - act like a wolf".

It's been evident KP has some immaturity in him.
He skipped exit meeting like a brat.
This is another thing he's done that screams immaturity.

I'm just hoping there is another person in the front office who can stand up to him.
The one guy that was willing to, Phil Jackson, got shown the door.
When you have a diva, a star, you have to have a strong basketball culture or a person in charge who knows how to deal with them.
We don't have either.

Hoping KP will mature with time, and say by 24 or 25 will be the leader we need him to be.
For better or worse, this is KP's team moving forward for the next 5 or 6 years.
