Anyone see Fultz new jumpshot? He changed his form and it looks awkward and uncomfortable. Not sure why he would do that. Reminiscent of Landry Fields doing the same thing, and forgetting how to shoot altogether, although i know some injury concerns played a part in that.

I tried to check out their open scrimmage off youtube. They only had one highlight of him attempting a monster dunk which he missed. Other then that it looked like Steph Curry and JJ Barea were scoring at will on him. But there wasn't enough on the highlight clips to really take anything away from them. I figured there would be more highlights of him but only the one missed dunk.

I figure he will be a really good offensive player. Can't watch the game but keep me posted on his defense. Then again it is preseason so even then.

Im not following their practices, but I'm not sure DSJ should get the nod over Yogi yet. Mavs have a nice camp battle for PG.

Not the way Smith is having trouble finding the net. The other aspects of his game looked good. When DSJ is more comfortable taking it to the rim, it will open up the Mavs offense.

Lost a lot of weight. Looks quicker on offense. Hopefully that translates to defense as well.

The NBA is considering seeding teams from 1-16 in the playoffs while eliminating conference affiliation.

With the Western Conference typically having more depth of quality teams, the NBA has long been imbalanced.

"Reformatting the playoffs is something we'll continue to look at," Adam Silver said. "I think though it would require revisiting the regular-season schedule as well. As I've said before, we don't play a balanced schedule now, as I'm sure you know. And for those that don't, that means that teams in the East play each other more than they play teams in the West. And our feeling is, if we were going to seed 1-16, we would need to play a balanced schedule to make it fair for everyone if we were going to seed 1-16 in the playoffs. It may be that as we continue to experiment with the number of days over which we can schedule 82 games that it will create more of an opportunity for a balanced schedule."

Stephen Curry said he'd enjoy playing in a postseason that included the 16 best teams in the league, regardless of their conference, which is a sentiment many other players have expressed.

embiid

Philadelphia could still have $40M in cap space next season even with the Joel Embiid extension. Embiid had a $18.3M cap hold in 2018-19 and Philadelphia will lose roughly $7M in room with the new $25.3M salary. The 76ers now have $57M in guaranteed contracts

hey lets reward a guy for playing really well for a handful of games base on his potential(see baker)..in fact lest give him 25 million per...sixers are the dumbest franchise on the planet

been on roster for 3 years, playing 31 games last season. 31 games over 3 seasons.

The Cavs are going to be in a lot of trouble with Kyrie gone and IT hurt for who knows how long?

Saw something somewhere that he has a hurt shoulder. But I don't know if that explains what I just saw.

J Holiday has put up big numbers for the bulls in the two games I looked at the boxscores for- hope we're not going to regret letting him go

IT's out for the season, I thought I heard.

Even so, don't know, Rose looks rejuvenated (I know, I know, it's just preseason) and if they don't completely break down with injuries, they have a pretty deep roster. Scary deep.

We should have troubles like "gee, who starts, Jae Crowder or Jeff Green?... DWade over JR?..."

I liked him as a role player, but we replaced him with Dotson which I think is a great move for the Knicks.
