Paul George is a matchup that well kill us. If feet do it right, he's the Scottie pippen on that team. He's the secondary ball handler. The true all around scorer and facilitator. Melo is toni kukoc... Westbrook is Jordan. If they run it like that they will be tough. This is day one and anything can happen.

KP will be on melo first.....I would pit Lance Thomas on melo.....hes our best SF defender. KP will leave melo open which can hurt or help.....depends if melo gets hot early with his jumper. But KP on melo in the post? I like KPs chances.

Ha, nothing can be worse than that opening game we lost against the Celtics (I think it was in the q rich era) after we'd talked all that trash and they absolutely thumped us!

Ha - read about the Suns game earlier and had the same thought. Seems like the Knick thing to do!
At this point, I'll take the beating and the L as long as no one suffers these opening night injuries like Hayward or Lin.

The Knicks just need to get their feet wet and use this game to start to build chemistry. I just wanna see this team grow. Facing a top team right off the bat is tough but it’s only one game!

We're going to surprise a lot of people. We're 15 deep with a good mix of veterans and youngsters. Frank and Dotson will help us a lot defensively. Kanter will be a force, especially in the East. KP should emerge this season and Willy will improve too. We're better than Boston.

I think this game will be more competitive then it should be because OKC will probably try and force the ball to melo more then in a typical game to ensure he shows us what we're missing. he probably will have a big game but this will make their offense more predictable which will help our very fragile defense attempt to get stops

This is it. Just want the see the team grow this year. Everyone should finally be able to accept that with this roster. Looking forward to the season despite not expecting tons of wins. GO KNICKS!!!
