I hope, but i got a feeling we are going to lose first 21 games
unless THJ, Kanter, Lee will step up and help KP
I know,, right?
If we don't out score the opponent we will never win a game!
We either have to:
1. Hold the opponent to score less than we do, or...
2. Outscore the team we are playing that night.
Its not that important we do this every quarter but by the end of the 4th quarter its super important we have a higher score!
Why is this so hard to understand? Does Rambis not have any clue to this advanced stat?
Does he need a stat guy on the bench? I read with Phil gone they will use more analytics! Other teams use this. I read that teams that win more then they lose are very in tune with this concept!
Its so easy, right?
I dont want to lose but if we lose this is probably best year to do it before the draft rules change. My main concern is our young building blocks like willy frank and dotson getting real playing time so they can grow

i get that. Part of me is hoping too because we could use another top young talent

For me, Knicks still need 1 more high level talent player who plays out that way. I still see KP as a 1a type of player on a good playoff team if he keeps his trajectory, maybe he turns out better (or flatlines).
Wish the Yankees finished things last night. I will probably sit this one out and hope for a rewind.

Bad idea starting the season so early.
First game of the year. Gonna be at Garden. Hoping the kid plays. Anyone know if Beasley is out?

Wonder if all these crazy injuries for the first few games of the season are tied to this?
We have to remember that how the Knicks looked in game one against OKC is a poor barometer for how this team will look the rest of the way against non top ten teams.

No it is because they are working out too much

I agree... these guys are working out too much. Lots of isometric and plyomnetric stuff. Guys get better and more athletic but can't stop getting injured for every little thing

KP isn’t a KD or Giannis who can just take the ball off the glass, drive full court and create his own offense! He’s more of a typical Big Man that needs a top perimeter player to feed off of in order to maximize his full potential. It’s not a knock on him. Just the reality of who he is.
I hope they can get KP the ball more in motion. Coming off Curls and Pindown Screens. Can’t just be ISO looks.
