He ran the point better than a former MVP on the team last season. Better than any other PG on the squad, as a rookie.
If we had a legit starting PG, if this team was on the same page. Im pretty sure that Baker would have more of an impact. Still no excuse for not being more aggressive.
Fucking joke as usual.
Willy plays 12 minutes has 12 points. Wtf is out front office doing. We have nearly 40MM tied up in two guys that are one dimensional. Was there a reason for Kanter? I know his stats are solid, but Willy puts up the same numbers at half the price.
Hardaway is god awful. Some how some way we found a way to hand out the worst contract of the offseason for the second year in a row.
This team is finished.
This game was so bad I was actually finding it more interesting to listen to heinsohn
Hopefully they rebound w some purpose
Glad Willy got some time and played ok
This was ugly. After a decent effort against the Pistons it’s crazy to look this out of it after a few days to practice!!! What did they do during the last few days? They looked like they were back in the Triangle. The offense was supposed to be simpler!
Grrrrr - I know it's only three games but there is so much wrong already. I have watched all three games and look, KP was a monster in the first two games so Im not that concerned that he was off tonight but... Hardaway!!! Coach keeps giving him major minutes and the guy is ICE COLD all three games and it's not like he plays any D or rebounds. I think the answer to how do you shut down Hardaway's shot? Put him in a Knicks uniform. If he continues to struggle, play Jacks more. I actually have hated the way Hornacek has used the bench. Willie should play more. It is going to be a long season, man. When do we finally win one? Brooklyn? Denver? Sigh....

who?
rozier
hah. why?
Cause he is better than THJR
um. why would they do it is what i meant
Because I want a death eater on my team.

Watching Rebecca interviewing Irving on MSG. He looks genuinely happy (in spite of the bad luck) to be mentoring the younger players, and lead his own squad.
Kyrie has a ring, which gives him some peace of mind, and maybe a little more patience.

He also has Jaylen Brown, Jayson Tatum, Marcus Smart and a death eater
Jayson Tatum is so good.
I am not a Duke fan and honestly did not think he was going to be this effective this quick. He and Brown are exciting to watch...wow.

Baker was not better than Iso-Rose last season .. when Horn kept giving Jennings minute to Baker to tank the season Jennings wanted out. Resigning Baker proved the Knicks are a Mismanagement organization.

Tatum always had the most NBA ready skill set in the draft. I expected he’d find early success because of his overall package of physical talent and skills.

Tatum looks good but he looks even better when we have a shooting guard defending him. Us starting TH2 and Lee together just doesn't work.

Rose was literally one of the worst PGs in the league when it came to sharing the rock, three point shooting, and defense. At one point he was ranked lower than D-leaguers, in just the East.
Baker kept the ball moving, sped up the offense, and found teammates who didn't finish enough. He is no savior, but I dont get the negativity for someone who showed more veteran smarts as a rookie, than some long time vets. Just needs to be in a winning system. This ain't it right now.
This was evident all game! Guys standing and pointing! Bumping into each other! They looked LOST!

I can't stand Hornacek as a coach- like I said in the preseason he cannot seem to get his players to learn the basics of his system, each year he says 'oh we won't have time to learn all of it", or he doesn't bother doing anything defensively, and the players still don't get it. I don't know any other coach that is so incapable of the basics of coaching.
