Noah? His name deserves to be on the poll.... we might tell him to just stay home no way he cracks the rotation.
If not Noah my bet is sessions

I have to say Beasley has been a disappointment thus far.
With McDermott and LT playing well and Kuz sitting around in street clothes, seems to me Beasley is a short-timer.
OTOH, with the Knicks playing like a playoff bound team, a two for a quality one trade is not out of the question.

Noah
Welpee@ 11/6/2017 7:19 AM
If Burke shows them anything in the G-league I think drop Sessions figuring if an injury happens they can just call up Burke or activate Baker. I also don't get the sense that Session is taking his benching well.
jrodmc@ 11/6/2017 9:36 AM
Noah, riiiiiiiiiiiiight... we pay a guy $56 million to stay home or to go play somewhere else.
I'm always amazed by this line of logic. Makes almost as much sense as the "trade Noah" posts...
SupremeCommander@ 11/6/2017 10:11 AM
It will be either Kuz or Beas... contract matter with this stuff
I'm hopeful we could deal one of these guys and get a second rounder

Hoping you are wrong about Kuz.
GustavBahler@ 11/6/2017 10:20 AM
Im guessing its Sessions unless its a money reason to keep him. We would still have Baker and his deal. Would still have 3 PGs and Dotson on the roster without him.
NYKBocker@ 11/6/2017 10:36 AM
Sessions is definitely the one getting cut.
meloshouldgo@ 11/6/2017 6:13 PM
Noah isn't going anywhere with that contract. I guess its possible we can stretch then cut him? Don't know ask the rules around that and don't see it happening

I think that we're so short at PG that Sessions should stay. We've got so many small forwards and The Bease is at the bottom of my list.

Actually, I think there's a healthy succession at PG without Sessions that extends back to the G-League. XRM appears to be making a case.
And honestly, I hated his play when we were losing. I suspect the two things were related.

You think Noah would get a chance to play somewhere else lol.... also how much are we paying Phil, and fisher to stay home or half of the coaches that we are still paying for. If we just strech Noah’s contract out we can pay around 3 mill a year that’s not that big of a cap hit at all. Noah isn’t even worth Bledsoe who is worth nothing right now. Heck we couldn’t even get even turner for Noah right now.
Noah should be the guy to go, maybe if we just don’t play him, he will go all melo drama on us and try and ask for a trade, and when he realizes hes not even worth that towel boy, he will work on a buy out with the knicks.
Noah couldn’t even bring half of what O’quinn brings on a nightly basis, heck he will get abused by Willy in practice like he did this preseason. Noah not on ped’s what’s that going to be like if hes been on them for Most of his career? Will he be less athletic and slower then he was last year will his body break down because he stopped using ped’s. if that’s the case we are paying a g league player who cant hit the side of a barn 16 mil a year.

The Beas can explode at any time. Sessions is a less valuable piece. We've got plenty of fire power just waiting to make the big team.
smackeddog@ 11/7/2017 5:24 AM
Ha, looking at that list I'd forgotten Ron Baker existed!
newyorker4ever@ 11/7/2017 10:13 AM
I don't think there will be a cut and think Kuz will get traded for a 2nd round pick. There's already rumors that he's on the trade block and i can definitely see a team giving up a 2nd rounder for him. It will either be that or they'll do a 2 for 1 trade. They could add one of our centers to a deal with Kuz which we need to do at some point anyway or they'll add someone else with Kuz but i think Kuz will be traded.

I love him... I think it is kinda nuts that we signed Beas when we had Kuz. But he's clearly been passed over by the President and GM, and now by Jeff. Looks really foolish we didn't trade him to the Suns when we had a chance

based on merit we should cut Sessions, but you are right. PG has the most risk. Jack is balling but I don't necessarily want to bank on his health maintaining

It made sense before the Melo trade. They had no idea that Kanter and McDermott were going to be on the roster at the time of the Beasely signing.
