Knicks · Frank Ntilikina needs a #Knickname that captures his game and will stick. What are your suggestions? (page 1)

I feel Frank will grow into a legendary defender. Modern NBA play is so dependent on the pick and roll and gifted point guards.
Frank already the makings of a defender that really "Disrupts" opposing offenses.

I suggest Frank "The Disrupter" Ntilikina

I don't know if guys remember Stacey Augmon whose nickname was "plastic man" because he had long arms and played great defense and like frank, he used his long arms to get steals and deflections. I always thought that would be a good nickname for Frank- "Plastic Man"

Frank Nitty is fine, as in he is Porzingodfather's errand man, doing the unspectacular dirty work in the shadows for him.

Frank "The Thief" Nilikina

I think "French Prince" is fine. "KP" doesn't capture his game and it seemed to stick. Anytime you go out of your way to manufacture a nickname 99% of the time it's lame. Needs to happen organically.

Nicknames should be short and simple if they're going to stick - like KP, Melo, Clyde. I think 'Nitty' will be good.
will do fine.

I'm good with the French Prince but how bout Stealikina??
HofstraBBall @ 11/17/2017 10:35 AM
For you cerebral types....."Pont Du Gard" "MInister of Defense" "Rwandan Beast"

For the rest "Frenchy D"

'The French Defense' is a classic chess opening

Someone else used the term Praying Mantis to describe him...so I don't want to take credit...but something using the word Mantis.

I'll go with the Preying Mantis.

prey

verb
gerund or present participle: preying

hunt and kill for food.
"small birds that prey on insect pests"
synonyms:hunt, predate, catch; More
take advantage of; exploit or injure.
"this is a mean type of theft by ruthless people preying on the elderly"
synonyms: exploit, victimize, pick on, take advantage of; More
cause constant trouble and distress to.
