Im going to pass on Sexton. If Hutchinbson showed me he could shoot the three better Id put him in the mix too--but Im not privy to pre draft workouts and he closed it down. But I guess that hed be the next guy after Bridges Carter Young if the draft goes awry
What's your opinion of Porter?
Im not sure we need to get involved with a hurt player.
I'm thinking
Suns - Ayton (Talent & need combo)
Kings - Doncic (Euro Connections)
Atl - Bamba (Coach says defense is who he is)
Memphis - Begley (Talent & need combo)
Dallas - Jackson (Talent & need combo)
Orlando - Young (Talent & need combo)
Bulls - Porter (BPA risk worth the reward given their roster needs scorers on the wing)
Cavs - Sexton (Talent & need combo)
Knicks - Carter (BPA)
76ers - Mikal (Mikal & Covington would be a terror defensively on the perimeter)
Hornets - Knox (Talent & need combo)
Clippers - SGA (Talent & need combo makes up for undersized SGs on roster)
Denver - Miles (Swap with Clippers, Chandler replacement)
Clippers - Williams (May lose Jordan in FA)

wow both Young and Sexton before #9. Interesting.

There have been rumblings of a Young to Magic connection since during the season before they even traded Elfrid. Been trying look up the connections myself. During the season Young was liking some Magic tweets. And Young has spoken out about looking for the best fit over the higher draft position. I believe he has let the Magic know of his desire to be their PG. They don't have one, And they would offer a good situation for him as the feature with some good talent like Gordan and Vooch to feed. Magic fans want him. Magic want someone they can sell as a star. They want someone that can shoot. Any other draft pick would require additional moves to balance the roster.
Cavs need a guy like Sexton given their roster. I think they only pass on Sexton if Porter is available.

I do think the Clips are in a nice position to land 2 good prospects. I would strongly consider trading down with them if we could land Knox and Lonnie Walker. I think because both of those two are gambles, I wouldn't feel comfortable just landing one of them with our pick.
Hmm- Did Sexton workout for the Knicks yesterday, if so why did they let the press interview Trae and Mikal but not Sexton?
Locked on Knicks pod has Cole Zwicker on as a guest. Zwicker is the guy from the stepien and ode to oden podcast. I know they discuss Trae Young.

The Knicks do have assets to trade up by I agree with him that any of those three plus Miles and Young would be a really good draft for the Knicks. I think people might be sleeping on Miles.

I can see this happening too. Lebron will definitely be leaving the Cavs. They'll need a new leader and a guy to handle the ball for them plus distribute. I can see them taking Sexton.

Tell that to Draymond and Durant.
I still find it interesting that out of the 4 main workouts this week (Young, Mikal, Wendell and Sexton), the only one they didn't make available to the press was Sexton and no info at all has leaked about how it went. Coupled with he fact ESPN's DraftExpress always have him going to us, I wonder if he's the pick. In fact googling, I can't really find any more info about workouts Sexton has done or has scheduled- there seems to be next to no information about what he's been up to on the build up to the draft since the combine.
Today I think we're having some sort of group workout with Knox, Zhaire Smith, Miles Bridges and Hamidou Diallou (according to Begley). Also I think Lonnie Walker and Robert Williams (unless those two are getting individual workouts)

Because there weren't any dominant bigs that needed defending, beyond the first round.

Seems like those are all players we might be considering landing a second pick for.
Again, I find it interesting that the Knicks Twitter account did one of these posters for their days workouts, the trae young work out, the Mikal Bridges one and the Wendell Carter one, but not for Sexton. Can’t help but feel he’s going to be our pick as he’s the only one they’re pretending never happened and didn’t make available for interviews. In fact there is next to no news of sexton working out for anyone else
After the Warrior win last night they asked Steve Kerr what made his team so special. He said that they're unselfish and his guys don't need the ball to perform well. When I think about it who in this draft plays that way? Not Trae, not Sexton, not Porter, not Miles. But Mikal and Carter do.

A couple of others that I know of like this...Zahir Smith, who I like a lot, and Huerter, the kid who Briggs posted about, who I believe is better than the rankings we've seen...
I think you are correct about Young, Sexton, and Porter...have not looked at enough vids of Miles, though.
Who/what would they trade to move up?
