Knicks · Last nights refs should be investigated for trying to throw the game in the Mavs favor (page 1)

It was some of the worst officiating I’ve ever seen in my 30 plus years of watching the NBA.they literally were trying to get the mavs the win. Mavs wee allowed to play jail ball on us to get back in the game. If officiated properly the knicks would have won by double digits.

Shame on the NBA, that was disgusting to watch. We are lucky we didn’t lose someone to injury also why dose the number one market for the NBA in the World always get the short end of the stick... if the NBA is about making money then the Knicks should get the spurs treatment not the other way around .

NBA get your shit together if your about making money stop dogging the knicks !

I agree 1000%. It was bad. I said to myself, “are they trying to start a fight?”. I was impressed by our ability to keep it together and not get any techs during that stretch. We do always seem to get boned by the refs but it was on a whole new level last night. I’m not sure what the MO is to screw us over so consistently but I’d like it to stop. I used to think it had to do with Melo’s too cool attitude but now that’s out the window. Can somebody find a 4th quarter report for last night?

That was absolutely brutal.

The treatment KP has been getting is disgraceful --- can you imagine NBA refs allowing the likes of LeBron/Durant/Curry to be mauled like KP is mauled both before/after he catches the ball.

Devin Harris (yes that all time defensive player) was absolutely clutching/grabbing/tackling people out there and no calls -- brutal.

It was pretty bad.
Not sure there was a conspiracy but that was serious home cooking for the mavs!
KP is not a star yet but he is a featured player in the NBA marketing commercials and deserves better than the beating and arm contact he was getting.
I like that Coach took him out to get his composure back. He was hoisting up shots and getting fouled but no call.
While that's not cool, that was the reality of the moment. Good road win and learning experience for our young crew.
They kept composure. Melo used to get indignant when faced with that.

Thank you but I just realized the real nasty stuff was before that. How they got it all tied up with 2 mins left.

If im horny, I say after the win, that the officiating was unacceptable. We were lucky that no one got injured, and we will be filing a formal complaint with the nba. I rewatched the 4th quarter and it was as bias as a wwf wrestling match, the refs were no doubt trying to throw the game in the Mavs favor. Total disgrace!

I missed the game and watched the encore. Oh my god! The Mavs were playing prison ball. No blood no foul. Horny has to do a better job of lobbying for KP. These defenders go right under him where he can't even take 1 step forward. They go right under him. I thought that is a foul in itself. They need to give the offensive play space to land on a jump shot. They are also hitting his elbow all the time. We really need Oak and Mase type players to protect KP.
