Second game in a row that L. Markkanen has outplayed K.Porzingas.

Are you serious? What more could Hornacek have done here with nonexistent production and execution from our guards?
The rotation in overtime, do you see how gassed that unit was.
We were never supposed to be in overtime in the first place
Frank non existent, Markennen Owned the Knicks, (Phil snickering)KOQ limitations apparent. There was little smart ball and while they miss Tim, Mirotec was traded today. KP exhausted. So many shots way off and hitting front of rim. 0-4 Free throws. Knicks made Chicago look good.
What was that L. Markkanen trade again Phil?
Anybody got Phils number?
This guy looks like a keeper. Bulls got a steal.
Wow....I am so disappointed with this team. I said a few days ago that we might as well start Frank and Dotson in the backcourt and let them develop. If we are going to lose home games to the Bulls, how much worse could they be? It's draft pick time. THJr might be able to turn this team around, but I wonder if it is worth it to be 8th seed.
It's like Lucy pulling the football away from Charlie Brown except I'm in my forties and Lucy is the Knicks
Our offensive flow has not been consistently the same since Hardaway got hurt.
Folks are overlooking his importance offensively, and he's been a more complete player since coming back here.
We have become too ISO heavy, especially with KP and Beasley, and even Kanter.
As for our guards...If we are not doing our motion offense or just dumping into KP or Beasley, you need some kind of picks up top, and we have not been doing much of that as far as I can see, and lets face it- KP does many things, but he has issues on his picks.
Frank does have to look for his own shot...almost seems like shooting is an afterthought for him, no doubt about that, but again, I don't see the same offense we had success with early.
KP was also lazy on D today...Tired, hurt, whatever, but Markannen has a limited game when he isn't getting wide open 3s. He took 15 of them, and on many of them there was nobody within 3 ft of him. KP can't be looking inside all the time, and he has to anticipate picks and get around them.
This is a playoff team with a healthy roster, but there is no margin for error here. We miss Hardaway bad.

agree with the bold parts.
3 things...THJr may help this team get to the playoffs but we'd probably get blown out by Boston 4-0. Unless there is a real chance to get a 6th seed, I'd rather get draft pick. We are past halfway point of the season. Very hard to pull rabbit out of hat on league now. Everyone knows everyone's game.
Frank...we need to have patience.
Lee is having a great season, but obviously not a long term answer at SF, I'd rather have a long term lineup of...
Frank
THJr
draft pick SF
KP
KOQ
We need a center who is willing to come out on defense. Kanter did it last game...not so much this game. that's referencing your last bolded part because Markannen getting open shots was not all KP's fault.
I said KOQ only because he's affordable.
This loss is not on Jack ...but he cost us the game with that late pass to Beasley
We need THJ back and Burke on this team STAT and in the rotation.
Burke can penetrate and score (no other pg on the team can do this)
THJ can create his own shot and score.

Hes going to be better than KP--physically hes more put together and has a better stroke. KP could do more damage inside if he just focused.
I think thats who Phil wanted in a KP trade--Jalen Brown Laurie M and a pick next year

I agree!!! It will be interesting to see how this team finishes the season with THJ back and Burke in the mix. Adding two guards capable of driving and hitting 3’s could really boost the offense.
Right now, it’s clear frank sucks. Rookie or not, he was a zero out there. Never looks to be aggressive passes the ball immediatley after crossing half court, no explosion and not a hint of athleticism.
KP can’t handle this kid and he’s lost the matchup twice. I’m looking at the bills and all of a sudden their future is brighter than ours.
Agree on sub par coaching tonight, Kanter needed to be out there.
And the Knicks front office should be embarrassed we couldn’t come up with 4MM for holiday and we handed Baker 10MM, perhaps the worst contract outside of holiday this offseason.
Another game where Porzingis will get praise for 10 overtime points but he really let us down. He's not progressing and his forced 3 point attempt in the first OT when were up 3 points and had a 5 on 4 was maddening. And he guarded Markannen most of the game and let him score 30+ points.
Jarrett Jack played well and a triple double, Beasley played well (except in OT) and yet we lose to the stinking Bulls at home. So pathetic
5 fast break points for the game, double fckng OT
Why can’t these crooked refs seem to tell when a guy travels? It’s just too stupid and unwatchable. Also is there anything a Knick opponent can do to get a flagrant? They call everything flagrant on us and never our opponents. It’s insane. I don’t know why the NBA needs to alienate such a large fan base.
Yeah we lost and they made a million improbable 3’s but it’s really getting old and hard to watch when we get shit on by the officials so much.
Markannen made a bunch of 3’s, often contested, big deal. He sucked in every other imaginable part of the game. Horrible traveled to lose the game with a jumping 4 step pirouette. Of course it went uncalled and they got a 3 to seal it after we basically stopped defending since the play shoulda been over. Of course KP gets called for a travel when it clearly was just a pump fake. They’re getting strange and creative with how they want to rape us. That Mavs game was the most insane thing, this was at home but they still found ways to bone us. Not sure if I can really get down with League Pass and wanting to watch this much Knicks ball when there’s this much stupid sh!t on a nightly basis.
