We'd need to clear up some cap space. But with Lee getting older and a need for players who play both ends of the court well, Evans could be a good fit. He could start at shooting guard. Lee could replace him and THJ when they need to rest with Evans moving to the 3 when Hardaway sits. KP, Evans and THJ would give us 3 good scorers who don't hurt the team defensively and Lee would be great off the bench behind 2 starters.
He would be great. His improvement in shooting has been the difference. Health will always be a concern. Is he too old for our plans ? But I would be interested in him for sure.
If we weren't already paying THJr and Lee $30M/year combined then sure. But as it is, we don't have enough cap space to make a run at him unless Kanter opts out and I don't want to tie up $50M/year in SG.
