I think he makes it in as a reserve without any trouble
However wasn't interesting players voted him in as three but with fans he was behind Embiid.

FWIW outside of NY KP gets a lot of hate because he's a Knick
Melo used to as well
Being the man on the Knick team doesn't make you popular like it is with the Lakers.
On the contrary you neither get great support from your NY or outside.
You are extremely hyped though - good or bad.

There has been a lot of chatter on sports radio from fans and talking heads about hoping KP doesn't make the all star game this yr. Something about wanting to keep him humble.

Making not voting to be a big deal. KP wouldnt stop talking about the All-Star game, this while his game was taking a nose dive. Thats not really a NY quality. Want to see him represent. Dont want to hear his Lili Von Shtupp impersonation.

After the first 10 games has KP really earned it? The lack of consistency and the really poor shooting percentage really don’t make a strong case for KP.
