Looks like we hit the pedal a little too late. But Burke emerging is a great outcome. Less need to find a stop gap PG, this season.
it would take at least 10 games combine for frank to put the numbers burke put up tonight

Had a nice game up till this point. His 3pters kept us in the game.
Fact that LT is able to get multiple 3s off is a testament to their bad defense. No NBA game should ever see LT shooting multiple 3s
Dont know his numbers lately, but he used to be good from 3pt range. More often than not he is one of our best defenders. Just glad he started chipping in on offense the last couple of games. Which includes GS.
That’s a lie

Thats a really weird thing to say.
good game for Burke and Beasley. KP needs to get better OFFENSIVELY!
Willy looks good on one play and then awful on 5 plays. What the hell happened to him?
Defense has been very bad of late.
Dotson needs to play if Hardaway is out.
Burke/Hardaway/Lee/Beasley and KP would be a nice offensive unit.

Maybe so, but Frank will never be a stats guy. He had an impact on the game defensively and does enough to play even when he's not scoring. I like how he and Burke provide different dynamics.

Dotson should be playing over Baker. Dotson is a better shooter, athlete, and i'm sure will compete defensively. I know Hornacek wants Dotson to pay his dues, but he has the chance to be a rotation caliber player, and i just don't see that potential with Baker. Baker is a nice guy to have as the end of the roster as a hustle player/emergency player who can help out with both backcourt positions. But he isn't a rotation player at this point.

I agree. Baker has had ample opportunity to show he can generate some offense, consistently. He's a good player to have for spot minutes. But Dotson looks like he can contribute more, amd should ge the opportunity. We're near the all star break,
I suspect we'll start seeing more of Burke, Frank and Dotson. Gotta start getting these guys ready for the future. There's no point to not playing these guys and letting them build.
Burke played very well. I think he needs stready mins. now and at the expense of Jack. Should be starting over Jack, where we continue to easy Frank along off the bench. Gimmie one good reason why not.

I can't imagine why they would pretend any longer that Jack deserves to keep starting. He's had his time and now it's time for the kids to play and take their spots as key rotation players. Jack doesn't need more minutes at this point. Like I said above Burke, Frank and Dotson need MINUTES.

It sounds like you are describing Ron Baker and Lance Thomas.

Absolutely. Definitely Dotson too -- he looked VERY GOOD in some of those twitter GL vids you posted. Very aggressive.. For Burke, I think the Net game, the end of the Utah game and last night in DEN were real eye-openers. He's gotta get mins. now. You wanna laugh--with Burke being a Perry guy, if Jeff doesn't play him now, I bet this is what could get him canned if they decide to pull the plug.
Missed the game, Doug hurt? Played only 1 minute
