So true.

Hard to get an alley oop if your always standing behind the 3pt. Line.

or looking to post up 15 ft away, and then taking some off balance turn around jumper

Getting smashed by the C's on National Television without Kyrie and Smart.

If this doesn't tell Perry to sell at the deadline, I don't know what will

nixluva @ 1/31/2018 10:19 PM
This is the game that will seal the deal on this season. Perry was probably speed dialing GM’s in the 3rd Qtr.

I think JH will not be back next season

32% from the floor. 32%. Timmy 1-10. Lance 1-7. Jack 1-5. Lee and Frank both 2-8. Damn.

He’s had a fair shot. Just hasn’t been able to figure out what to do with this roster. It’s kind of not an easy job. The roster imbalance and lack of talent at PG and SF in particular made this a really strange team and not what he would want to do normally.

Jeff wants to play fast with multiple breakdown guards and athletes on the wings.

Let's remember, we are still way ahead of schedule. Most thought we only win 25 games this year. Front office won't go into sell mode based on some losses, because they are expected. Coaching change will depend on development of young players late in the season.

We are rebuilding. Why jettison the coach at this point? He is clearly with the program, emphasizing defense, wanting but not able to push the tempo, but these things will come with better players. Continuity here important for team's development (and there has been solid development this year). Getting rid of him at this point a) could PO KP, b) kills continuity, and c) plays into the lazy sportswriter narrative of Knicks-in-turmoil. Keep Jeff.

I always want wins against Boston teams but Boston is a juggernaut this year and way ahead of the Knicks in maturity. Whether we lose by 30 or 3 is of little consequence. This would have been a very tough game to win regardless and certainly no reflection on JH.

To hell with the deadline. The Knicks need to decide asap whether or not to make a run at the playoffs or cash in as many chips as possible.

If the Knicks are playing to win, we need to integrate a SF quickly. A number of names are floating around. Sooner is far better than later.

The bench also needs a refresh. I'm not sold on Dotson - good prospect a few years away. Thomas, CLee, Willie, and Jack all need to move.

Detroit, OKC, the Pelicans are all teams that need multiple role players to rebuild depleted benches - strike while the iron is hot.

Disagree about Dotson. His D is legit and once he gets acclimated to the NBA his offense will be very good!!! He’s the least of our worries. One of the few solid pieces going forward IMO.

The coach was being evaluated by how hard and smart the team plays, it wasn't even so much about wins and losses. Boston was struggling coming in having recently lost to the lakers and magic. We look totally unprepared

I thought Frank played a great first half... and then he sits in the 3rd? I just don't get that. And no McD in the first half?

That's just some weird rotations unless guys are being showcased.
