I get the feeling that Hardaway is dealing with more ankle issues. Remember there was 1 game after he came back where he he came out on someone or twisted foot again.
smackeddog @ 2/4/2018 2:26 PM
Great, 7 mins for Frank, well done Hornacek

WAIT. WAIT.

There's a good chance that the refs will change their mind about something and send the game back in time again.

Give it at least 30 minutes before we count it as a loss.

Frank has a sore knee.

I think that may be the logical choice but I’m betting they don’t. 15 more home games left. They’re probably gonna keep trying to make the “Playoffs”.

Jeff has had MORE than enough time to show something proving he deserves to keep his job. I don’t see how he’s brought back. No excuses left!!!

I hadn’t heard that. When was this reported?

The announcers said it in the second half.
GoNyGoNyGo @ 2/4/2018 2:44 PM
I am done with Jeff.

THis is the 10th game they have lost this year that they should have won.

Poor plays out of timeouts, poor clock management, poor substitutions, poor rotation, poor D.

It is time to go. They need a professional coach. A winner.

The team is not improving and the young kids are not playing....it is time to go.

Perry needs to bring his guy in. A defensive guy who plays a motion offense.

Burke must start from now on.

I was watching the Hawks feed! Hawks games are on standard cable down here. The Hawks announcers were SHOCKED they got this win! They killed THJ.

Zebo13 @ 2/4/2018 3:01 PM
It’s gotta be the under cover tank! No other explanation for keeping THJ in the game the last two games. Pretty obvious. Perry had JH playing to compete but 100% ok with games slipping away. KP and all the main pieces are aware as well. We’re going to get a top 10 pick AND have more assets and late 1st/early 2nd with max contract room in 2019.

I usually wait until the next day before hailing tank-losses, I know people who want to win are very frustrated after the game

Look, this game should have never been close. Hornacek is one of the many coaching staff members who have to sit in horror watching bone-headed turnover after bone-headed turnover, stupid mistake after stupid mistake. There are shots of the cameraman taking a shot of Hornacek and he's just shaking his head. Hornacek can't play the game for this team.

The problem is an asymmetrical roster that needs correction - too much average and below average and not enough talent. You can rotate average players all day long and you get no gain. None.

As Martin notes, some young players are getting their minutes. Not only that but they are getting appropriate minutes for the most part. The vets are the ones who keep fumbling around when they are paid to produce. *THEY* need to be moved. A "continuity" of mediocrity is a fail. A happy losing locker room is a fail.

And I have no idea why you have any faith in Perry. Phil was smart enough to send Hardaway packing and the first F'n thing that's done when Phil is gone is bring back the smartest player the Washington Generals lose with. We will never become winners with Hardaway on this team. If I were Porzingis, I'd be checking out who I wanted to go play for. I am sickened by the idea that Hardaway will command floor time because of his contract.

Yes, Burke should start but not because he's starting material. It's to protect Frankie and sit Jack's ass down.

Come on with the KP should be looking to leave garbage! Gotta give Perry a chance to show what he plans to do! Too soon to be thinking like that.

They need to get used to it... its many games left.
This one I start watching from the 3rd minute of 4th...
Will going to slowly cut it to checking the box score and standings next day.

martin @ 2/4/2018 4:10 PM
This game was a good example for me as to why I think THJr is, at best, a 6th man on a deep playoff team. Too many mental mistakes. Every player is gonna have them but he repeats the same ones over and over and over.

Same with KOQ. You can count KOQ on a foul or TO that had a zero chance of even having a positive impact on game - like setting a poor screen that was unnecessary at a momentum juncture. Or maybe unnecessarily doubling a guy 40 feet from the rim while your man gets dunk on ensuing pass. Like that.

For me, same with Kanter and his defense.

I think hardaway was signed before Perry came on board though.
