I like the ball movement and movement without the ball. KOQ really seems like a keeper. Obviously a fan favorite and really rounding out into a solid 2-way player. I would love to see us lock up both players at reasonable rates. Move Lee in the offseason and stretch Noah. We should be able to move forward with KP, Ntilikina, Hardaway, Burke, KOQ, our 2018 1st round pick, and preserve enough 2019 cap space for a max free agent. If Burke's play is sustainable, which i think it is to an extent, i can live with that group moving forward, with the assumption that we can add a quality free agent in 2019 at one of the forward spots.
For context: KOQ had a decent first half against one of the worst teams in the league and hasn’t fucked up like he normally does.
It's a sound base of players. Can't argue with it.... I'm down for the cause. All of our guys are keepers actually... we have alot of good kids. We have to keep adding to them. This off season if we don't indulge in the starphuch, we will add 2 good youngins in the draft... Perry has been savvy in finding players. I expect him to mero working that magic. We're definitely going to work the g league... we had 5 nba call ups from the Westchester squad. All 5 could have been called up ti the Knicks if it weren't for certain players taking up space. I'm excited for this movement. We're as close as we've ever been to building a Knicks team from the ground up and our souls intact

Koq is having a great year lol... why is it ok to curse him but not Nalod?
KOQ is an end of the bench player...if he is getting major minutes, the team is lotto bound...

Did Nix hack your account? Was this an optimistic post? During one of the worse seasons in knick history?
About time....heres another knick fan thats awake. We are not that far off. My problem is I'm not sure exactly whats needed. There are so many question marks, this knick rebuild feels like we are rolling dice at a casino, getting ready for a huge bet. You can see it coming....Build up the team around KP and THJ....While searching for the 3rd piece (until Frank is done in the incubator.
Right now KOQ is out best big man. He's not as much of a stat stuffer as Kanter is but his D is much better and his passing isn't non existent. A keeper at a moderate salary.
Whatever helps the tank I guess. Really tired of this team. Keep Burke. If KOQ re-ups great. Otherwise next guy up.

This has been my dialog ever since KP went down. Before then I was trying to expedite the curve while KP is young and on the come up.... now we have time to take it easy while KP is out. The summer of 2019 has always been the target though. That's the offseason we should be able to finally make a triumphant return to the playoffs and make a nice 5 year run.
Burke makes everyone look better. I am really impressed by the easy looks he's getting guys (most of which are bricks).
Even more reason I want Mikal Bridges. You get an elite defensive athlete and an elite shooter.
