Been trying to tell people about Kobe's bball mind. Think he would make a very good GM.

I read Kobe is going to do this full time. He turned down traditional analyst roles so that he could effectively teach the younger guys how to properly break down film. The quote I saw was something like "if I had this when I was young, my understanding of the game would be so much deeper than it is or was"

Is it possible that Kobe's media career ends up being even better than his basketball career? He's off to a pretty incredible start

One would argue that Magic is more successful after basketball than during his playing days.

Sounds like Kobe has an opportunity to find and fulfill his purpose.

2) Is the purpose of this to reach out to you g and ambitious players or is this to target a general audience. If it’s to help out ambitious players then it’s great. If he’s trying to target the general audience, then it won’t work. Most people don’t have the time or patience to watch film being broken down, no matter how well it’s being done (and it’s being done great here.) Plus, they will fall asleep after 20 seconds. For me or anyone here (or I hope anyone on here) then this
Is really awesome stuff. We are a niche audience though and niche audiences take up a small percent of the population. If Kobe becomes successful from this, then I am happy because he has a true gift here. If not, it’s not hard to see why. I wish him well. I personally always knew he had an incredible mind for basketball.

It’s a very complicated game. Most people tend to not realize that.

Kobe has always been a pretty smart dude. I didn't like him earlier in his career mostly because of the Colorado thing. But he did seem to mature after that and has even won a academy award since retiring. Like someone else mentioned he does have a great bball mind but he has also said he doenst really miss playing which not many players can say.
