Huerter to me resembles Klay Thompson- a core player on a team that has won 3 chips in 5 years. Frank lacks elite athleticism position advanced offensive skills. He's not big enough to guard elite wings. If I had the choice to flip Frank for Huerter I'd do it. Look at his shooting stroke and range. He already has advanced NBA skill

I think Huerter represents-much more what we see on elite teams inthe nba than Frank. As far as changing opinion my bet is Huerter changed a lot of opinions later in the process

Some of the comparisons for Huerter are Kyle Korver without as good a shot. I don't think you move Frank for Huerter. Huerter at 16 might make you look smart as a gm. Huerter for Frank and a pick gets you fired.

What is at 9? One of Carter Bridges or Young--assuming Porter gonzo. If its Bridges--than I might have different opinion. If its Carter--Id be all in using Frank to get Huerter. My opinion. Huerter is a Reggie Miller /Klay Thompson like 3 point shooter. Thats more than Frank.

Just awful, I didn't even want to draft Frank but from a value standpoint that is just criminal. Frank down the stretch started to come on. While I'm not opposed to trading him I would need a lot more than a mid first round pick. Not only that but I'm giving away a future first as well? Horrible trade

I can see Porter still being there at #9 because of the question marks. That's why we're flying out to take a good look at him this week in Chicago.

Is Huerter worth taking a chance? We already know Frank is going to be an elite defender, year in, year out, health permitting. Have to see if Frank will have an offense to go with it.
Contrary to what many believe here, dont believe we will need beyond this season to know if Frank can be at least a capable scorer. A shot at a rookie getting some late publicity, isnt worth it.
Doncic, Fultz, those guys are the kind of players worth parting with Frank. Mega upside.
