What does it say about Smith's role as PG on Dallas? I don't see Donic being as effective without the ball...and the same is true about Smith. You take Donic to be a point player of some sort, not a catch and shoot wing.

I'll assume they have a plan, but it still seems like a strange move.
The other thing is that both of them are so-so defenders...exciting players, but not the greatest defenders. They will need some shot-blockers.
