Knicks play at noon ET against the Bucks at MSG. I don't know too many stadiums that realistically would WANT a game at that time on that day, players or owners - I'd guess they'd want to be home with family basking in the glow of eggnog, kids playing with new toys, sheets of town wrapping paper scattered around them all wearing PJs. Players, stadium employees all need to start that noon game day process at like 8am, some of them LEAVING the house at 8AM or waking up in a different city than their kids and family. On Christmas.
Only in NYC can you get people to fill the stadium and actually get people to watch the game to make it worthwhile for players, staff, commercials, etc.
No, those winning teams that don't get to play the very late games in their home city are very happy to have the day off.

you are so dead wrong about this. if there is such a poll, you'll find that players will gladly celebrate Christmas a day early or late with their families rather than miss out a chance to play on a day when the entire country is watching.

I used to live in Olney Maryland and Frederick Maryland but now I live in Punta Gorda Florida One suggestion to people meeting up for Knicks games in Washington is the Irish Pub Fodo's its really good!
