I don't mind paying but don't want to pay for league pass.
I live in Las Vegas and I'm always working when games are on so I want a service that will have old games I can watch when I get home.
Anyone? Thanks!
You can look into streaming services like Fubo and Directvnow but their sports channels might be regional. Both services have a cloud dvr. Fubo is about $15.00 less a month for me and I think their product is better. However, Fubo does not have any ESPN content. If you have cable, stream or get your television from a provider you pay for, get the NBC sports app/streaming channel. They broadcast almost as many games as league pass. They don't show the Knick home games but you can get a lot of NBA content there.
Ballstreams used to be the best option for streaming services if you didn't/couldn't use league pass. Now there is a site called HeHe streams that reportedly provides the same type of service. I chose not to use HeHe but read good reviews about the site at the time. Two years ago I used a different site to stream but I am not recalling the name. I will post it later. The site was fine but did not compare to ballstreams. If you go this route, you have to be prepared that the site might get shut down like ballstreams did. Also, HeHe used to require that you pay with bit coin or an amazon gift card. I don't know if that has changed.
Reddit is a good source for free streams if none of this works out. There used to be a site where you could watch games that had already been played but I haven't used it since Linsanity. If I remember it I will post it in this thread.
Good luck and definitely get the NBC sports app if you can. There is a ton of out of market content on there.

League Pass is great. You can pay only for the Knicks around $99. Games are saved so can watch later or old games.

The site I used for archived game was wiziwg. Not sure if it still has that content.
http://livetv.sx is what I use for any sport stream. The best links usually require some third party software like sopcast or acestream.
This site will trigger warnings with your antivirus though, but I haven't had any troubles.
Watch the replay on League pass. It comes on after the game is over but if your 3 hours behind, it could work.
I think you can choose one team to watch on League pass. Last year I watched just the Knicks $7.99 per month.

Brings the price way down. Good Value. Problem is in the past the games have to either be watched live or wait until its complete.
NBA is supposed to be offering the ability to watch the 4th quarter of any game for $1.99. on league pass. Will be interesting to see how successful it is.

And I think you can only watch it on a device. If that's the case there's a few free sites on line that you can watch any live sporting event, you just have to search. There is also a lag in streaming live events, at least 2 plays behind
There is a reddit specifically to stream games but you got to make sure you got adblocker, and ghostery up and running before you take that risk

It is a browser app like Adblock that keeps sites from installing cookies on your computer. Cookies is a technical term for a program that lets them track your browsing. It's how for example if you google watches you start to get watch ads in the banner of future websites.
It can be used to track you in real life. Which means it's a privacy risk.

aware of cookies, but preventing cookies..doesn't it mean site could block you?

My fault, I wasn't sure you understood what cookies were.'
I've had the app for almost 3 years and it hasn't happened yet.
I ended up signing up for hehe streams this year. We switched from Fubo to Hulu and love it but we don’t get msg. Hehe is $25 for 7 weeks or $100 for a year. They have a roku app and accept PayPal.
I loved ballstreams but also got burned when they were shut down. I am starting off with a 7 week subscription.
Content is the same as league pass without blocks.
I saw a workaround in reddit where someone used a free VPN to get international league pass mad cheap. The writer said something like $15 using a profile from India. I'll post a link if I can find it again.
