That he can shoot in garbage time?
Its a start..
at least he looks like he wants to be out there, garbage time or not. What is up with Knox's body language?
Not seeing what you're seeing. He looked that way when he was trailing a guy for a chase down block, took his time. The effort is there.
He plays a Euro style of ball

watch the replays if you have a DVR of just how he's hanging his head, walking like he's tired, doesn't want to be out there.
Very Happy BUT lets be honest the hawks played zero defense. I mean traffic cones would of presented a better challenge

lets also be clear that we played stifling D for most of 3 quarters

Looks like he's trying to figure out things, not a lack of interest.

The ghost of Avi Lee was switching into whatever Hawks player was close to the ball.

Just might be gassed. Knox attacks almost every time he gets the ball. I dont read too much into the body language of a rook who is being very aggressive. Unless its directed at his teammates.

I don't know how old you are, but he reminds me of Sabonis sr a little, aside from the passing abilities and height, just kind of a smooth player crafty player

I liked our d. However I wasnt impressed by young. Hawks are rebuilding but are definetly is worse shape

Remember Sabonis well, he was more of an old school big IMO. Knox plays like a smaller player, better handle, athleticism.
Knox 4 of 16
Hezonja 6 of 14
Trae Young 5 of 14
Young played a team high 33+ mins
Frank played a team high almost 34 mins, after that 6 players in 20+ mins range
Vonleh better at cleanup than even Kanter (5 of 5 from field)

Well said- good for Knox to have that example in front of him- he'll get it- Trier earned props though- I've never seen an undrafted Rookie fearless and smart on opening night like that
Knox looks pissed at himself after a missed shot but hustled on D afterwards consistently- process! Good he's coming off the bench and w our young scrubby team lots of other scoring options.

"Allonzo Trier scored 15 points tonight in his NBA debut. In doing so, he set the modern NBA record for most points ever on an opening night by an undrafted college rookie!"
Gotta luv Trier.....A true walking bucket.
